Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Made my flower garden possible! We have hard clay soil, I do not own nor can afford a powered tiller. So, I was resorting to the cotton hoe and shovel to try to break the dirt up sufficiently. This product does take some effort to use, and I had to use my foot to push it into my stubborn soil but it broke up the area faster and much more effectively then all my other hand tools. I used it to work compost and extra soil into the dirt and to help break up some small weeds even to make the holes for my small plants. I am so happy with this purchase, I was about ready to give up on a garden until I bought this. May 29, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easier on the arms than straight shaft one in the store. The handle shape makes it so easy to use. It adjust to different heights. Good for the environment because it doesn't use gas like a roto tiller. Should last a long time. May 28, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Can't live without it. I am not a fan of ordering online, so I was alittle dissappointed that I could not purchase at your stores. But I have used this claw for many years and none compare to it. I had to get one for my daughter's bridal shower so that we could continue this tradition. It works beautiful in clay soil and in around difficult areas where a tiller would not fit. It helps speed up weeding because you are not breaking the weeds, but you are pulling them out whole and very quickly. Love this. A must for a flower gardener. By the way online ordering wasn't so bad after all. It came very quickly. August 15, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LOVE This!!!! Must have for gardening... I love the gold claw! The bent handle bars seem more ergonomic to me than the straight ones (worth the extra $10 in my opinion). Its super easy to use and works fantastically. I'm a new gardener and trying to contain some horrible weeds in my yard that have very thick deep roots and this gets them out with very little effort. Plus I've cultivated existing gardens that have compact soil and threw some seeds on them. Haven't seen them sprout yet but its only been a week. Highly recommend this item! April 17, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I love this product This product is well constructed and easy to handle. It makes small area weeding so easy. It is also great to break up moderately packed soil for planting. I originally bought this product because my 89 yr old mother has one and uses it all the time on her garden and loves it. June 12, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Garden Claw Gold Cultivator This is the best Garden tool I have. I actually have had this tool for years but wanted to purchase some more for gifts. When I tried to locate this particular Garden Claw, I was surprised to find that the company has made a newer model, which isn't made as well. I was so happy to find that The Home Depot still had some of the Garden Claw Gold Cultivators on the website. When I found this out, I actually purchased 4, more than I originally planned. I want to make sure if mine ever breaks, I have a backup one. Yes! Its that Good!!! It just does such a good job without much effort. It is durable and goes through some very hard dirt, clay, etc. I recommend this model to anyone. June 12, 2010
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not really a super claw but a good claw. I personally think this product would be good for very light gardening. I tried using this to remove the ivys but its root bended the fork. However, it does a great job on weeds etc. Just tap it in, twist, then pick up the weed, Much easier on my back! For the price and the easy to use, I would recommend this product. I have small flower bed.. But if you have a huge bed or garden, then I would suggest you get a tiller. May 14, 2006
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Garden Claw Gold Cultivator When I first saw a claw like this on TV -- I thought it would be prefect for a senior (not a High School Senior;^) and especially in the Phoenix, Arizona area where the soil is like clay and really needs to have other mediums worked in to improve the flower beds or in fact any area where you want to plant a small tree or shrub. I was impressed how easy it was to use for this Grandma. It works great for weeds removal too...another tools that's just perfect for me! Thank you for offering it! March 12, 2010
