I used the Glidden Traditional Brown Gel-Flow Paint on the window frames on my house. I love the pop of color that the traditional brown gives the windows. Before, the old almond shade lacked any pop of color and the windows were lost in the sea of red/orangish brick. Now they are beautiful! The gel-flow oil paint is sooo easy to use. I could paint and paint to my hearts content without constantly worrying about brushstrokes showing up after it dries. The gel-flow paint is very forgiving of your paint skills and looks beautiful every time.

It was easy to use. Need to mix before you use it as the gel seems to go towards the bottom. I did have to use a second coat. I tried to paint right over the wooden chairs for our kitchen table and spots did not cover. I also painted in the cold. When I painted the table and put a primer over it, I only had to do one coat. I will def use this for other projects around the house as I did not have to sand or anything else like this and it was easy to use. It did scratch easily on the chair but the table is holding up good.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by mcknzy Great paint,No Shake.
I love the look of oil paint but hate the long wait for it to dry and then the cleanup is always messy.
Well no more,This oil base paint is a gel and so no shaking, just a light stir if needed and off you go.
It stays where you put it,goes on thicker and It runs a lot less than other paints and dries pretty quickly. My house is at 65 degrees and was dry in about an hour and a half.
Instructions say to use two coats but as thick as it goes on and with the quality of coverage I didn't see the need for a second coat and it looks amazing. Cleanup was simple in mineral spirits and brush came out looking new again without the stiff brush syndrome. I will be using this again to paint the rest of the door frames and trim.
I highly recommend.

Actual paint looked clumpy in can but spread evenly when applied. Recommend mixing with stick thoroughly first. Use of quality brush improves results. Used on door and the results where outstanding. No brush lines.

I usually avoid gloss paint due to it showing any flaw, but I found this to go on smoothly with a nice finish. I generally try to buy more expensive paint the further I stray from flat, but was pretty impressed with the brand.

I had been planning to repaint my front door for awhile. This paint went on very smooth. It is a dark brown which is the color I needed.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dani My door looks HORRIBLE!
I followed directions as indicated and my interior door looks absolutely horrible. I watched the on line video by Gliddon and not sure where things went wrong but there are visible brush strokes, thick gloppy areas and some lighter areas. My house stinks, and I think I will have to buy a new closet door. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID.

Very difficult to work with, I have many years experience painting with brush, roller, and various types of spray equipment. My wife bought this paint as it was recommended for the front door she wanted a different color. After taking the door down and doing the prep work I began to paint. I struggled for over 20 minutes with a brush and switched to a fine foam roller. didn't work either. Then I used my most expensive fine brush and ultimately finished. The finished product is extremely glossy and shows obvious brush strokes. It didn't spread well and I will probably have to purchase a new door as this one will not do, and the the work to get it back to a aesthetically usable state is not worth the time.
