There are no street lights where I live so it was important that the light I purchased would cover my
3000sf driveway area. I was skeptical about the coverage area rating and the 150 watt bulb that
The fixture has been up & running for a week now and I am so pleased. The sensor is activated at
dusk and the 150 watt bulb has more than enough brightness to light up my entire area.
This fixture is an exact replacement of the one installed over 25 years ago. It's both sturdy and
reliable and not effected by weather in the least. Mounted 15 feet from the ground, it took my
electrician about 20 minutes to install it. It's a great security light.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Steve Best I have bought, for one acre lot
I have bought several cheap lights like this to save a couple pennies, My large $300. sodium light that a friend gave us 25 yrs ago gave out and on our property we want light for the dogs at night and for our security cameras to see everything around the shed and RV area. I installed this light yesterday and could not believe how much light the lens puts out, I have to raise the light to 25' high , right now its on a 10' poll and at 25' it will reach out wider. But even if I left it at 10' it is the Best light I have ever bought. Spend it extra $$ and get the best!

Bought two of these online (special). Had them shipped to the house. arrived April 21, installed on the 22nd, returned this afternoon (23rd) to local store for full refund. Both were defective. If you buy this item. Assemble and bench test before installing. The makers of this item also make the poorly rated 75 watt item (both are made in China).

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Steve Great Product; Poor Manufacturer Support
A box of bit pieces was missing when I began installation. It was a show stopper, specialized clamps that would hold the lamp assembly to the support pipe and the support pipe to the structure were missing. Globe Electric's 800 robo-answerer ended my call abruptly with "return with receipt". REALLY? Over $5 worth of parts? Although this was ordered on line and shipped to my house, my local Home Depot store #3655 saved the day. Tim W and Jessica somehow gathered the missing parts in a single day, which allowed me to avoid the trouble, delay and expense of returning the kit.

This light is twice the light we had before. We have had issues of unwanted guest on our property. This will help detur them.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by InWyo Hope it holds up to the wind.
Very nice looking and fairly easy to install. Shade base is very thin metal and am afraid will begin to wear out due to wind and then it will fall off. I did beef up the mount of the shade by using flat fender washers to enlarge the surface area of the mount screws.
The instructions did not say how to turn the socket for the light sensor. Had to figure that out on my own.
Nice light output and looks good.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by PensacolaEd Other than a missing part, good product
The cover for the splice compartment was not included in the factory-sealed box. Had to improvise a cover to house the electrical connections. Light works fine, and is very bright, plus it was easy to install, although the directions were pretty sparse.
