Without knowing the details of your application, some things can be stated with good confidence: these kinds of products typically require a reasonably smooth surface and they must be terminated (explained below). I am not talking glass smooth, but if your stucco finish is rough as opposed to smooth, a product like this will generally not stick well. So, follow an approach like this:
1) Get a tool like a 6-inch drywall taping knife
2) Remove any random "peaks" in the stucco. If the taping knife is not heavy duty enough to remove a peak, then use a chisel
3) Get a bag of a product like Cement-All (sold by HD). Mix up the Cement-All and skim coat the area to be covered. Cement-All is a very DIY-friendly product and it does not require you to prime the stucco--you just have work fast. Use the drywall taping knife you used in the first step to evenly spread the Cement-All.
4) Let the skim coat dry overnight
5) Coat the skim-coated area with a concrete binding primer or even just spray a coat of 3M Hi-Strength 90 contact adhesive before applying the Vycor Plus.
6) Lay down the Vycor Plus
7) Use the drywall taping knife again and pull it along the Vycor to ensure adhesion (a roller doesn't apply enough pressure in my experience).
8) Then, as a final step you must "terminate" the Vycor (all four sides). You do this using an acrylic flashing tape, such as 3M 8067 (wonderful product, unfortunately not carried by HD) or a suitable sealant (sealants are messy and can imprecise, I prefer the acrylic tape to ensure coverage).

Answer:
Vycor Plus was designed to provide superior protection to vulnerable wall details such as window openings, doors, and inside/outside corners. For rooftop applications we recommend use of Grace & Water Shield. Ice & Water Shield was developed for use on sloped roofs, and in roof details. The product should be covered within 30 days of installation.

Answer:
I don't know what you mean by "between" room. If this is a wall application or a wall-to-roof underlayment intersection application, then the Vycor can be used. By if it is roof only, you should follow their usage recommendation. And if you use it, you should prime the area, ensure it is reasonably smooth and then you must terminate the Vycor after it is is applied (with acrylic tape or sealant).

Use as barrier to aluminum flashing?

I am installing flashing around the perimeter of my deck under the decking. I need this as I can't install the under deck ceiling all the way to the edges due to posts being in way. Since pressure treated lumber and aluminum flashing don't like each other, could I attach this flashing to the lumber and then be able to use the aluminum flashing? I have yet to find a vinyl flashing I like or a PVC flashing that isn't cost prohibitive.

Answer:
Yes, you should be able to use this material as a separator sheet, between the dissimilar materials. The Vycor Plus material should be protected from permanent exposure to the sunlight by the metal flashing.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Multiple-Use Flashing! Used Grace Vycor's heavy-duty sticky(!)-back flashing to protect my old pressure-treated deck joists from future weather damage. We're replacing original 22-yr-old cedar 4 x 5/4 planks with Timber Tech composite. While I appreciate Vycor's product differentiation (they offer this as 4" x 75' "Deck Protector" with a non-slip pattern for $5 more -- for the short time it's exposed while you lay down planks), I purchased the 12" x 75' rolls to cut into different strip widths (2' for rim joist, 3" for joists, 4" and other for other flashing needs) and save some coin in the process. This stuff is slippery on the top, sticky on the back, and appears to be thick enough to survive years of pressure washing where it remains exposed between the planks. I anticipate other uses for what I have left over. We shall see how it holds up... I was surprised that my local HD doesn't stock it but doubly pleased that shipping to home was free and product cost was less than other retailers that had it in stock. August 30, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 12" X 75" Grace Vycor Plus, Great Product easy to work with in 12" size, ripcord is a big help when applying a 16' piece over the edge of flashing. great product, i used it to seal a large area behind T1-11 siding when attaching a deck ledger board to the rim joist. order the big roll, you will find places to use it. store it in a cool place until ready to use. August 4, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Vycor first time user. Happy with product. I used this product for the first time and liked it. I used it behind a ledger board to cover the band joist and base plates. Bought the 12 inch roll. Put one 12 inch strip on the lower part, extending an inch and a half onto the concrete foundation. Then cut another 12 inch strip into 6 inch strips and put that above the first one (with some overlap). In hindsight, maybe an 8 or 10 inch roll would have been better, but that's a minor point. It cuts easily with a utility knife -- I laid it on some scrap cardboard on the floor for cutting. (It will really tar your scissors, requiring a heavy duty cleaner.) Before applying the real stuff, I cut a small piece just to experiment, since I had never used it before. I figured out that before removing any backing, it's helpful to use masking tape to hold it in place temporarily (since I was by myself and had a 16 foot run). Then reach behind and peel away the backing with one hand while pressing the (now sticky) surface against the wall with the other hand. I watched some videos online to see how it's done. The mfg website shows that the 12 inch roll is supposed to have a ripcord making it easy to remove the top or bottom 6 inches of the backing, but mine did not have the ripcord. I don't understand that. Oh, I first tried wearing plastic gloves (as recommended) but my gloved hand got stuck to the asphalt after removing the backing and I was unable to pull it away. I then discovered that it's much easier to skip the gloves and use bare hands. Just lightly handle any exposed sticky part and it won't be any problem -- none of the asphalt got on my hands. All in all, it sticks very well to wood and concrete (after first wiping away any dirt) and makes a really good water tight covering. I think the small extra expense (in relation to the total cost of a deck) is well worth it. My order from Home Depot arrived within a few days, faster than was predicted when I made the purchase online. October 28, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome product Great product. Sticks to everything. Use this product for window flashing June 5, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great stuff this flashing was just as advertised. And the previous reviews were very helpful and spot on. Used this to flash two patio doors. one below and one above my deck. original half wit contractors used no flashing and I got water damage behind the deck header and T1-11 siding. its repaired and the vycor will give me peace of mind for years to come. the adhesive is very strong so make sure you want it where you put it! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Amazing This flashing tape was just what I needed I could also see many uses for it. In may application I built a new deck and where I cut the lap siding out to attach the 2x10 headers I used this between the header and the house and it totally sealed and protects the house June 24, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great product This isn't easy to find in stores so I had to buy it online. It showed up quickly and did a good job. I wouldn't install a door or window without it. October 28, 2013
