Installation was straightforward since I was putting it into new ceilings and prior to insullating the atttic. Lighbulbs are a different story. Big fingers and small places don't always mix well, but you can pull the light out of the recessed container and then pull apart the fixture itself, push the lightbulb/mount through the front opening and it works just fine. Did have some shorting of the back end of the lightbulb mount when pushing the assembly into the recessed container. Also heating is a problem. Incadessenct and even halogen bulbs will cycle on and off because of heat protection of the fixture. Just bite the bullet and get LED... 4000k worked great for our kitchen and I also put them on a dimmer when softer light is desired.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by gofastgo Engineered improperly, not functional, doesn't rotate
The eyeball trim finally came back into stock after a year of waiting. Gleefully I opened the box the went up to the upstairs bath to replace the existing 'white' trim. Got the first one out and replaced it with the 'new' SS trim, then a problem, couldn't seem to make it rotate to shine on the area I wanted. I finally figured it out, they are not manufactured properly and the bezel doesn't turn at all, no rotation, fixed, horrible for a eyeball trim which has to turn to make it functional. Really bad for Home Depot.

we installed 4 of these in our bathroom. Nice looking lights. lots of light when using the max wattage bulbs for it. adjustable heads are convenient to point the light to where you need it. we also installed a dimmer switch to use with these lights..very nice...
