Can I install these on a sloped ceiling with a multi position bezel so the direction of the light goes straight down?

Answer:
Dear valued consumer, yes, they can be installed in a slope ceiling. You would need to use an eyeball / directional trim to adjust the light downward. Of course, it’s much preferable to get a slope housing and trim.

Can this be installed in a vaulted ceiling?

I have vaulted ceilings downstairs, c. 1986, sheet rock, not exposed plank and beams. I assume the ceiling is 2 x 4 framed, and that the roof is directly on top of it. The rest of the house is 2 x 4 roof trusses. I'm not sure what code was back then, it may be 2 x 6 because it's vaulted, but I'm assuming, because everything else about the building of this house has been wonderfully under-acheived, that it's likely 2 x 4. It's not a large roof. Thanks

Answer:
Dear valued consumer, if the info you provide is correct, this housing nor any of our slope ceiling housings would work. I would recommend installing regular junction boxes and using our LED Surface Disk Lights to complete your look. SLD606830WHR or SLD405830WHR.

Since this is a shallow housing, is there any issue when using this with the "2700K White Recessed LED Trim with 90 CRI (2-Pack)"?

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 7 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome Upgrade Very easy to install. The pattern sent with the fixture works great. Have installed many of them and not had any problems at all. March 1, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by As advertised No big issues. I drill the holes with a 6' cicular saw found out that was too smaal, but besides that error no issues. February 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great light My electrician recommend we only buy halo housings. They worked out great. Ended up installing 20 cans. No issues at all. Great construction. December 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Product LED lighting in recessed cans is a very clean look that I like. LED lighting is not cheap to install, and if installation cost is important, use another product. If you consider lifetime cost and reduction of bulb replacement, I think it's a better product. Bulb replacement is an issue to me because of high ceilings. Also there is an LED product now that is designed for high ceilings, and the light is much brighter. The remodel product is much nicer to install due to reduced damage to drywall. If you have drywall removed, use the new construction product. I use both products depending on whether drywall is in place or not. February 17, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Clips aren't so bad I got these to replace the non-IC cans that were essentially the same size in my living room. The remodel that was done before I moved in decided to save a few bucks (I mean very few, like $20) and installed non-IC cans into an insulated ceiling. Grrr... Anyway, these are pretty good quality and the push in connects are really a nice addition. The clips aren't so bad. You can bend them outwards a little if you are having trouble. I just use a flat head screw driver and push in and up and they go in with some effort. I don't want it to be too easy as you want them to stay put. May 16, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Remodel is never easy The engineer at Halo needs to spend one day installing these units. The clips are of poor design. One helpful hint: after the clip has engaged use a small sheet metal screw to hold the clip in place. An open baffle is required with the shallow housing. You will have to go with the open style baffle. December 4, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy install Quick wiring makes this much easier to install. the only thing to watch out for are the clips to mount against the dry wall. Not all of the clips "locked" in place nicely. May 20, 2012
