I will be installing H99ICAT IC housing 4". Can I use R20 and PAR 20 LED bulbs with this trim/baffle? If so, is the trim/baffle limited to how many Watts(true) LED it runs?

For example: Will a 10 Watt- R20- 65W Equal-700 Lumens LED bulb work with this trim/baffle?

I want to run the brightest LEDs in it as I can and use dimming to drop the light output.

Answer:
First off, the trim has absolutely no relevance to the wattage capacity of the fixture. It can dictate the shape of the bulb, but it has nothing to do with how high watts/lumens you can use.
The housing (aka the fixture) is the true indicator of the maximum wattage that can be used in it.
For the brightest bulb in the fixture, always opt for a PAR20 50 watt or higher equivalent in a 5000K (Daylight Read More

The housing (aka the fixture) is the true indicator of the maximum wattage that can be used in it.
For the brightest bulb in the fixture, always opt for a PAR20 50 watt or higher equivalent in a 5000K (Daylight color), as well as that shape/color bulb in LED in 550 lumens or higher.
Use this type, and make sure you have it wired onto a dimmer rated for LED dimmable light bulbs to ensure you get the best control for your recessed lighting. Read Less

Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worked well - easy to install These have spring retention clips that you simply compress to push up into the light housing. Compared to other bezels where you need to clip the spring to the housing - it was a breeze. Took me all of a minute to pop out the lightbulb, compress retention clips, slide the bezel up and put the lightbulb back in. My only negative is the price - I wish they were a little cheaper. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love the light Light fit well into the housings, very bright light, put them on a dimmer and they are great! Have them indoors & outdoors. April 14, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great for the price It's all about the price. I first bought the $40 ones then I realized I need 20 to cover the house so I have to go with this one for the basement. When the light is on you can't tell the difference, only when the light is off then you see you get what you pay for. December 2, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent I ordered 6 of these, installed them and was so happy with them, I ordered 6 more for the rest of my basement. Stylish, and easy to install. If I had more recessed lighting, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again! June 19, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Why did this break in the first place? We had a kitchen remodel done four years ago. We chose All-Pro lights. After this many years of service the plastic baffle trim has become brittle, and broke apart when the light bulb was changed. Maybe I should buy several more in anticipation of others breaking.
