Answer:
There is no filter between the two. I just installed mine last nite and in looking at it, I would imagine you could cut a filter to fit between the two. If you're venting to the outside though you wouldnt need a filter.

Answer:
No, no filter. None is really needed, as the purpose of the fan is to remove humid air from the bathroom and exhaust it outside the house.

There is no filter between the grill and the fan motor. If you are venting the bathroom to the outside you wouldn't want to filter it anyway.

No. The use of a filter would only restrict the air flow and trap moisture, especially if the fan were mounted over a tub or shower. Since the purpose of a bathroom exhause fan is to remove odor and moisture from the room, there really is no reason to filter that air since it is going outside the home. The restriction of air-flow will add increased sound levels as well as slow the removal of moisture Read More

Always use the largest exhaust duct specified by the manufacture as this will help provide the maxium air flow with the least restriction. Read Less

No, there is no filter. Actually, the cover barely hides the motor. Do not buy this product - unless if you want to work on your anger management skills.....

Answer:
No there is not but it is not typical to filter air that is being exhausted. It probably wouldn't be a horrible idea as it would keep the fan blades clean but it would be of greater expense and hassle changing the filter frequently.

Answer:
Hi Juliem, there is no filter in this product. You clean the grill in the sink and dry with a damp cloth. Clean the fan housing inside with a vacuum and wipe the outside housing using detergent and dry with a cloth.

i see the slots that the wires go in. I cannot get these in to finish the installation of the fan. If i would have not already installed the fan, put in the piping i would throw this back at home depot. What do i do now? If I cannot get the cover on then i will take it out and return it to home depot.

On each side of the black plastic fan housing there are three inch channel around the housing that you can slide the metal clips into and up. Stays up nice and tight! I attached a picture to show you what you're looking for. Read Less

Rated 2.2 out of 5 by 55 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not worth the purchase My electrician properly installed this exhaust fan in preparation for my bathroom renovation. My bathroom is very small but this product did not do a good job at all. After showers moisture accumulated on the ceiling and water drops dripped down from the ceiling and the fan. I went back online to look at the reviews after my experience and the reviews were absolutely correct. Next time I will continue my practice of looking at reviews prior to a purchase. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I like it! This fan is super quiet. It is fairly large in size. Be prepared to add some support if you are mounting it in 24" rafters. It come with metal braces but they would not fit my application and are better suited for 2x6 rafters. August 4, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Didn't even work I've installed several bathroom air vents in my houses, and this one was very hard to install. I wish that I had connected power to it before installing, because it didn't even work. I have checked all the electrical numerous times too. Power is being supplied all the way up to the motor. Connections are solid, but it won't turn on. I should have read the reviews before purchasing. Will be returning. July 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great fan, no problems I've purchased a number of these units for new homes, never have had an issue. Install is painless, homeowners are pleased with the power and quiet motor. May 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Exhaust Fan Product was on sale and a good price. Also works significantly better than anticipated. Clears bathroom of unwanted odors and steam from shower extremely well. June 14, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Rattles! Had to return At install it rattled and couldn't be fixed...poor quality! Returned and replaced with a broan May 10, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Air Flow Is Awful Bought two of these for a corner of my basement where we are constructing a cigar bar. The area is small and has PLENTY of air from open windows to get air moving. The fans were VERY quiet, which was impressive, but I fear the CFM rating is not correct. Our output was constructed of solid, 6" ductwork and only went about 4 feet before going outside. No elbows or anything...strait shot. The cigar smoke stood still in the room. Even blowing smoke strait at the fan, it would "kind of" draw it out, but not so much. I realize cigar smoke is probably not the intended purpose for these, but there is no reason the air movement shouldn't have performed better. Quiet...yes, very. Moves lots of air? Not at all! Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Really loud Terribly loud. There must be something wrong with the fan blades maybe hitting something. Now I have to pay my handyman more to remove and replace it! Not happy!!!! April 3, 2016
