Answer:
Not really, although there is a manual override you can use at night while the motion sensor is on and the light is off, it deactivates the motion sensor.

Rated 3.1 out of 5 by 48 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ok i went a little over the top on buying a outside Light At first glance you may think wait this is to fancy to put on my house or garage as i did, but after you get it up this thing grows on you and make the hole wall look better! I think it has some kind of magic that you can just stair at it and feel better about your home. So it was well worth the money, I plan to buy two more and change the ones on the house to match this new one on the garage! July 22, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Lookis good and works well when it is working Nice looking and relatively easy to install. I bought 7 of them and all worked well initially. 3 failed after 3-4 weeks. Returned defective units and installed replacements. In about 2 months another failed. So they are functionally great when working but my experience indicates a high failure rate. Kudos to Home Depot - I had a good experience in returning the failed units and getting replacements. I guess I;ll stay with them since they're already installed and keep my fingers crossed. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Only worked for 2 months Dont buy it! It only worked for about two months after it was installed. The sensor/electronics quit working one day. The fixture looks nice but I was extremely disappointed given the price tag! August 23, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointing Installed not quite 1 year ago and no longer functioning now. Motion sensor and dusk/dawn sensor did work but not very well. Light would activate when cars drive by on the street and not when someone would walk up to the door. Dusk/dawn sensor did work but the light would continue to turn on well into the late morning and function again well before dusk. Would have been far more satisfied with the way it functioned had it not suffered a complete failure for an unknown reason. I would strongly suggest looking into other products if wanting a motion sensor dusk/dawn wall mounted light. June 9, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Does not turn off. Motion sensor turns on lamp even in bright daylight. I wish I read the review before purchasing two and having an electrician install them. I followed the directions to do the initial set-up by powering on in "test" mode". Switched to motion sensor and it turned it even in bright daylight. Switched to 6 hour mode, where it is supposed to turn on at dusk and shut off after 6 hours. Turns on ok, but they don't shut off. I would not recommend this product. I paid $60 each for lamps that are now being manually controlled instead of auto sensing. It would cost more to have an electrician swap out lamps. Home Depot - stop selling this defective product. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Quality I purchased 3 of these, and 2 have already failed within 6 months. Going to buy from quality electrical outlet next. Fed up returning poor quality! December 24, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Works and Looks great - when it works. I purchased two back in April. One went out in August and the other in September. They just stopped as if they weren't getting any electricity. I suspect it's the wiring passing through the motion detection/light sensing box. When they worked, they were really nice. I'd purchase again if they didn't have the motion sensing, etc. The warranty people are great. I replaced the one and it's still working (for a month so far). Now I'm undecided if I should replace the 2nd or just bite the bullet and chock it up to a bad product. September 10, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Do not buy Bought two of them on sale about a year ago. Now I know why they were on sale, one went out never to light again. Thought it was the wiring but it wasn't. I refuse to buy a second one will look for something else and read reviews before I purchase. Seems everyone has the same problem. Piece of junk for the price and I see Home Depot doesn't carry them in stock anymore, I wonder why. October 26, 2015
