Customer Reviews

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by very nice We bought this light for our entry and it looks great! Installation was fairly easy until we got to the last part, putting the silver ring over the glass globe and attaching it with 4 tiny nuts while holding it up. It is a bit heavy, so you may need a helper. I'd recommend using LED bulbs so you don't have to change the bulbs often :-) We bought it on sale for $75 and love it. November 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Really nice lamp but one annoyance This lamp looks really nice and does not seem cheap. Really makes an entrance area look modern and welcoming. It's also fairly heavy and has a solid build. One down side to this lamp is that the globe itself is very thick and blocks a lot of light. Two 60 watts appears dim. I changed it out with two 75 watts and it looks good now but if you have a huge area maybe even consider two 100 watts. Also recommend using LEDs because the globe is not vented well at all and other bulbs will get too hot because it is a tight space. So basically great lamp but BUY BRIGHT BULBS AND MAKE SURE THEY ARE LED. April 8, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Looks Bright But Not As Much Light As Expected I've received a lot of compliments on my stylish new light fixture ... it's one of the first things you see when you walk into my new apartment ... but for a fixture that takes two 75 watt bulbs, I expected a little more light. Installing the fixture was a breeze but changing the light bulbs can be problematic if you're doing it alone. The opal glass is secured to the base by a metal rim that's held in place by four nuts. (You can see what I'm talking about just by looking at the picture.) It's hard to hold the glass and bottom metal rim in place with one hand while securing the 4 nuts with the other. Despite this problem, it is a great fixture to look at. August 11, 2006
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful Fixture We just received this fixture in the mail yesterday and were able to put it up in less than an hour. It is definitely easier to put up with two people. I really like the elegant look it gives to the entrance of our condo, and the lighting seems just right to me since we did not want it to be too bright. I wish it came in one size bigger like an 18 inch, but other than that no complaints. This was a great buy! October 5, 2006
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Doesn't throw off enough light with two 75 watt incandescents. But it looks nice and appears to be relatively well made. I'll try some 100 watt LEDs. May 11, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Elligant and rich looking I like it because of its look and pleasing asthetic attraction to the eye. You instanty focus on its unusual architectural design. It's not common, it's somewhat retro yet very modern. I'm glad I purchased it for my dining room. October 15, 2011
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Looking Semi-Flush Light Fixture! This fixture has a great modern look and I think it is a better alternative to a flush mount, which can tend to be too simple and cheap looking. January 19, 2007
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by excellent they are seen very pretty and gives a very modern atmosphere to the house April 6, 2007
