Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by davisark Just okay
The glass is barely frosted so that the bulbs, sockets, and wire are visible from the outside. The box was the last one and had been opened, so, of course, the two screws that hold the cover to the base were missing.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Emma Don't Like Green Tinted Glass
I bought 2 of these white lights when we put the covers on the glass has a green tint not white. I put these on a white porch ceiling and the green tinted glass looks terriable! Went back to Home depot thought it must be a defect but the glass is all like that not what is pictured on the box.

As several other reviewers have mentioned, it is not easy or even possible to mount the light flush to the ceiling, apparently due to the very flimsy construction of the base plate. I was only able to obtain an approximate flush mount by drilling a hole in each corner (4 total) and carefully tightening screws placed in each hole and screwed into the ceiling. It seems to me that a stiffer base plate would add very little to the cost but would go a long way towards fixing the flush mounting problem.
Although the light has a reasonably attractive appearance and the price is good, I really feel that it does not have good value.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Lightning Good purchase
The light was fairly easy to install. The main issue I had was trying to screw the two outside nuts that secure the outside cover to the fixture/light. The base was too loose, it kept turning with ease, so I was required to tighten up the middle screw. Which in turn it caused the base to slightly change it's configuration, making it hard to start the two outer nuts.
But over all...it was a good purchase of a good product! I purchased this one to replace one just like it!
This repair/replacement was done on rental home. My tenants were very happy with the way the new light look, and the quality of my work (first time doing it).
