Answer:
The fixture uses a GU10-16 50W max halogen bulb. It should have come with a small suction cup. If you do not have the suction cup any old small suction cup with a hood used to hang ornaments on windows will work. Rubber gloves work well too.
Using the suction cup, attach it to face (glass lens) of the bulb. Push in and twist 1/4 turn counter clockwise to remove. Then attach the suction cup to the face Read More

Using the suction cup, attach it to face (glass lens) of the bulb. Push in and twist 1/4 turn counter clockwise to remove. Then attach the suction cup to the face of the new bulb, align the 2 pins with the holes in the socket, push in and turn a 1/4 turn clockwise.
Do the same thing with rubber gloves slightly gripping the face and edges of the bulb.
1 last bit of information, when replacing the bulbs, I would recommend using sku number 1000038703. They can be found in the stores or online. This bulb will fully illuminate the glass whereas other brands or LEDs will not. Read Less

Answer:
The 50W GU10-16 halogen bulbs that are included are 480 lumens each. You can find the replacement bulbs online or in the stores under SKU 1000038703.
Contrary to another post on this product, SKU 1000038703 is the only bulb (patented) that will fully illuminate the glass. CFL, LED and other brand halogens will not. Hope this helps.

Answer:
I replaced one bulb with a 360 Lumen bulb. It is slightly dimmer than what comes with the fixture. This fixture will work well in a small area (10"x10"). The problem is the bulbs are not worth the effort to install. Buy something that uses CFL bulbs and replace them with LEDs.

3-Light Antique Bronze Round Ceiling/Wall Fixture with Wheat Glass Shade is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 39.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from I stopped in the middle of replacing bulbs on this stupid fixture just to come here and warn people about it. The pros: It looks very nice. They have a bunch of lights similar to this in different styles, they install easily and they look great. The only con that matters: They seem to burn bulbs at a faster rate than normal fixtures, and that is a problem because these bulbs are a huge pain in the rear to replace. You have to use a suction cup to replace the bulbs (don't lose it under any circumstances), and then installing the new bulb is an exercise in patience. I lost patience and came here to vent. And to warn. I will be taking this fixture down, and I would avoid fixtures that use the GU10 lightbulbs,

Rated 2 out of 5 by from 1st.. The box to threaded tube had damaged threads.. Had to get a different one. 2nd.. The thread... 1st.. The box to threaded tube had damaged threads.. Had to get a different one. 2nd.. The threaded rods were to short.. had to get a longer ones. 3rd.. Putting in the bulbs was VERY difficult.. Partly because the provided suction cup wouldn't stick to the bulbs. Heating the cup (and running it under hot water) didn't help. I liked the price and the design. Purchased 12-22-16..

Rated 1 out of 5 by from realy stupid design there is no way you can insert and remove the bulb with your bare hand. You need to use the suction cup to replace the bulb. I tried to replace the LED bulb to this unit and the surface of the LED bulb is not flat, the suction cup cannot be used to replace the bulb.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very difficult to maintain and install I would not recommend this product. It is EXTREMELY difficult to insert the halogen bulbs into their sockets. It took me an hour to keep them from falling out. Maybe the ceramic bases are not made to specs, but I had a lot of difficulty getting the bulbs to stay in the sockets. Also, the bulb fixtures do not rotate easily, so it is difficult to aim them at different points in the room. The steel nipple for the fixture is only 1.5 inches long. The short nipple makes it very difficult to secure the fixture to the ceiling outlet box while maintaining the integrity of the electrical connections. Stay away from this light fixture. It is a time-eater.
