The lights now that they're up work well and did their job of illuminating under the cabinets. The drawback is definitely the cord length. With each light only containing 4ft of cord, I had to purchase extra lengths of cord and rewire all the lights to get the cords long enough to reach the power supply. Once this was done installation was a breeze but rewiring was no easy task. Would've been much better to simply include 25' or so of cord and let the consumer choose the lengths. I'd imagine I'm not the only one with this complaint.

What can you say, their lights. I like the fact that they are dimmable, but wish it was on a dial instead of the touch pad. Lights do look really good under the cabinets. They do get pretty hot so be careful what you attach them to.

We installed these when we remodeled our kitchen 3 years ago. LOVED the way they lit the kitchen both above and below the cabinets. Then they stopped working about 6 months later. Because I didn't keep any packaging, I just ran back out and bought two new sets (the wiring was all well hidden and I didn't want to deal with re-wiring it all) and replaced the boxes only. I had the same problem less than a year later again. And now, here I am, 3 years later and the dang things stopped working AGAIN! I decided that I'd take the box apart to try to figure out WHY they keep dying. Only now I find a FUSE?!? Now I'm really annoyed that I have replaced these stupid things so many times (2 sets 3 times each) and all it is is a fuse! I came online to find out the size of the fuse and came across the reviews mentioning how others only found the fuse later...The packaging really should mention the fuse and make the fuse accessible without disassembling the whole unit.

I have purchased 4 of these and may get more in the future. The first set I installed in my China Cabinet, the second and third sets were installed in my book case and the fourth in my upper kitchen cabinets. Depending on your preference for either surface or flush mount the installation is pretty straight forward.

At the 3-year mark, had to replace a fuse, which was a little tricky but inexpensive and quick. These lights are nice and put off a neutral (not blue) hue. The touch-puck has three brightness levels from ambient to task. I'll never have a kitchen without under-cabinet lighting again.

We've had these lights for about 7 years and they really compliment the look of our kitchen!
They were a little awkward to install just because my husband had to put him self laying down on the countertops a little to use the drill and get them in, but otherwise it was fine. Hiding the wires is a challenge, but we did the best we could by buying cord grabbers to keep them along the backside. Also if there's a sink or oven between cabinets, then plan on buying another kit or single light with it's own cord and plug because hiding the wiring to attach to the others will be challenging.
The lightbulbs will be sensitive to touch - so make sure you don't get any oil from your fingertips on the bulb itself, use a cloth between skin and bulb. The replacement bulbs aren't cheap, but not expensive either. Some go out faster than others. Another drawback was that sometimes the facing of the light (frame and glass) will just randomly fall out one day and land on countertop or on a toaster, etc. easy to screw back in but a nuisance. However for a $35 kit - I can't really complain since having them professionally installed would've been at least 6 times the cost!
The touch panel is super easy to turn on and off - so make sure you install that!

If these lights go out on you, check the fuse. I bought these lights 5 years ago when we bought our house. I didn't get around to installing them for another year. They were a pain to install for me because our cabinets are only about 12 inches from the countertop so there isn't a lot of room to work. Old house, weird quirks....Anyway, we loved the lights but after about 6 months they stopped working. We used them almost every night do I figured that maybe the bulbs burned out. I replaced all 6, they were expensive little bulbs. Still nothing. Since I had held onto them for so long before installing, I didn't have the receipt and I just gave up and left them there. A few weeks ago I won a similar set in a raffle so I tore the old ones out and threw them away. Now I see that it was just a fuse. Very frustrating! I should have asked an employee if it was common for the bulbs to burn out so fast. I am having trouble installing the new system and I wish I had these back. I really liked the touchpad dimmer and my new set doesn't have one. This is a total bummer. The lights worked well but as others have said, the cords are somewhat hard to hide and in no way is it okay for the fuse to go out every 6 months! At least I had saved my receipt for the pricey little bulbs! Knowing what I know now, I would still recommend these lights, but I would keep a fuse on hand.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Duds Nice light
The six light package was perfect for my kitchen. They're spaced about 18 inches apart and the coverage is excellent. They give off a nice warm light, and it's nice to have the three different levels of light with just the tap of a button. Installation is straightforward if you're at all handy. Hiding the wires and plugs can be a bit of a challenge, but that's life. These lights do get very hot, in fact I left a coffee dispenser about three inches under one and the plastic top started to melt! I think they might actually be hot enough to ignite paper, so I'd be careful. Other than that I like them very much and have no regrets about buying them.
