Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by OutdoorMan Great fan, but out of the box I had to replace the pull string mechanism to the light
This is a great looking fan, and operates well, however after installing it I realized the pull string mechanism to the light was not working, I had to pull the fan apart and replace it, and now it works just fine. If that's not a deal breaker for you, then go for it, because it looks and works great.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Dofus Blades are Not Reversible
If you buy this fan with intentions to reverse the blades to turn the black side down rather than having the fake looking wood side down, you will be disappointed. The black side is clearly marked "this side up" and the side is not flat. I solved the issue by spray painting the fake wood side black.
Other than that the fan is great.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Dofer Great Fan if You Paint The Blades
I bought this fan assuming that I could turn the blades over since it says the blades are reversible on the box. The reviews complained that the fake wood side looked cheesy and said that the back was black and that was OK with me. I am unsure as to the definition the manufacturer has for "reversible" but it does not mean that you can turn the blades over on installation to turn the other side down. The back (black) side of the blades is clearly marked "This side up" on the individual blades and the blades have a slight upward curve. I solved the issue by spray painting the fake looking wood grain black. Minus one Star.
Other than that I am very pleased with the fan. Assembly was relatively easy, it is very quiet, and it creates plenty of air flow. I would recommend the fan to a friend as long as they understood that the fake wood side looks really cheap and that the blades should not be reversed.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bottlewasher Great style and quality for the price
Installation straightforward. Style great for a 1917 bungalow. Fan powerful enough. Lighting, though. 60W bulbs provided way too bright. From 25 to 15 to 7. Now happy.

The fan has been a great addition to my patio. Whisper quiet with just enough light. If you change your mind on what side of the blade you want facing down you have to remove the light kit however. Not difficult but an extra step I wasn't anticipating.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dee Attractive, Solid Fan
I ordered two of these fans for my back porch. The electrician said that he was impressed with the quality of these fans. He had no problem installing them. They look very nice and do the job of circulating air. I am very pleased.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SecondStarWoodCrafts Great fan
This fan is great. It does exactly what you'd want a fan to do, and more! I've been throwing veggies into it non stop and it does an amazing job of chopping them up when it's on high. I've stopped using my food processor altogether!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SFJEWELS Very nice looking, easy to install
The fan was very easy to install. The ball-in-socket style installation made it so I didn't have to hold anything heavy while I was connecting the wires. Cons: there were a TON of stickers on it with really obnoxious adhesive that I had to very gently remove with an oil-based adhesive remover since the dark finish is pretty delicate. The faux wood side of the fan blades is incredibly cheesy looking, but I intended to have the black side show so it wasn't a big deal. If you're planning on wood side down, you might reconsider as it looks like wood designed by Fischer Price for a toddler toy: very unrealistic.
