This is the second Princeton building that I've bought, and the first is still working at another home. After 10 years, the most I've done to it is improve the roof that came with it and give it a lovely coat of pink paint. The new Princeton is now installed and working at my new house. It is being tricked out with cabinets and shelves as I type to provide a way to organize. Rather than renting a storage locker, I wanted something that I could visit easily, and this little guy does the job. The installation was straightforward and took only two people (the second person is support for the first). The big part of the installation took two days. Yes. I would buy another one. In truth, we discussed getting another one just to set it up like a story book house that acts like a small studio.

I am not sure if I would recommend this product, we were missing several 2"X3" pieces of lumber from the box, missing trim pieces. By the time you purchase wood flooring, shingles, felt, drip edge, & other screws that are not included in the box you will spend over $1000. I personally spent $1060. with everything needed to complete the shed, and still have to paint it which will take 2 gallons of paint for a cost of another $60 or so. I added 2 2"X3" studs to the side walls & to the back wall to give the shed more stability & strength due to the shed company uses a 24" on center for the walls instead of 16" on center.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Horrible shed First of all my shed kit was wet and damaged. So I had to exchange some plywood. As for the rest of the shed we had to measured each piece because nothing was labeled as specified. So we labeled them ourselves. I was also missing a few pieces so we had to make our own. The price was ok but I paid 100.00 more than I wanted to because when i was looking for a shed this shed was 699.00 and when I added it to my cart and put my zip code in it went from 699 to 799. Called and spoke to customer service and as told the prices vary after zip code. The price should be the same all around!! Js

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Princeton 10x10 Shed I read a lot of the reviews on this & almost passed on it but the price finally won out. All materials were usable except for a sheet of roof decking that was damaged by a forklift. Not perfect but all in all I was pleased. I put this together by myself but I don't recommend it. Let me also say that if you can't follow these directions you don't need to be building anything. Step by step with pictures. How much easier can it get. This building is plenty sturdy even for areas with a lot of snow. The only extra wood I bought other than floor decking was a couple of 2x4s for the floor joists. For a little over a 1000 bucks this can't be beat.

We bought this same shed about 8 years ago and it was of much better quality. This one was full of warped wood that had to be replaced. Also less 2 x 4's included. About the same to put together. It took my husband two full days to put it together (including floor) and another day to do the roof (I helped hold the walls). Not a lot of choices out there under $1000 so we would probably buy again and just replace the bad wood.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from House of cards The shed is inexpensive and appears to be fine once assembled. All components as stated. The down side is it seems for money saved for easier shipping you give up strength and ease of assembly. I suggest beings you need to buy floor decking you also purchase eight 10' pressure treated 2x4's (or 2x6's if you want added strength) for the floor joist instead if the supplied pieced together floor joists. Use the supplied flooring to strengthen walls or build shelving.

I did beef up the walls, spacing the studs at 12" instead of 24". I also beefed up the roof by adding two more trusses and using architectural shingles with 30# felt and drip edges. I did end up adding about $300 in extra wood and materials but well worth it. Doesn't leak and painted to match the house. Looks like its been in the yard since the house was built and will last until I sell the house.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Stay away This shed came with more warped 2x3's and not enough proper instructions...VERY POOR..it has taken 4 days to put this building up...this product needs a lot of more designing ..for the price, you should have boards that are straight and better material.i will never buy this shed again..we are having to modify a lot of things to strengthen the walls and roof...STAY AWAY FROM THIS KIT...
