Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tulsaguy Just installed the third one
I've had great lock with mine. Just replaced my third light with one. Easy to install, they other two have been working for several years with only one bulb replacement.
I need to replace three on my vacation home and am planning on using these.
Love the efficiency options they offer.
Set one at dawn to dusk and the other two to go off three hours after dusk and they come on every time I approach then just like they should. Great for security too. Which is the main reason I installed them.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JamesC Improvement over old motion-sensing light fixture.
I installed this lamp (in the bronze finish) to illuminate an entry on the driveway-side of my home about a week ago. The instructions are poorly written, so it's a good thing I didn't need to rely on them due to my familiarity with similar fixtures. At first, the light would not come on at all, but then seemed to stay on constantly, even in the early morning when it was daylight. After some trial and error, and several trips up and down the ladder, I eventually was able to get the sensor adjusted properly by angling the motion sensor down and reducing its sensitivity. I initially purchased this lamp for its sleek appearance. Now that it's working properly, I like how sensitive the motion-sensor is, and the amount and tone of light it throws. Compared to the halogen flood lamp it replaced, this lamp is a huge improvement in appearance and functionality. I'm going to purchase the Heath Zenith 3-lamp fixture for the other side of my home.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Kaicanoe Works 4 me
I got 2 of these units.
One is on the outside of my garage, & I had to change only 1 bulb so far. I had it on low/hi function for several months., but, reset it for motion only turn on. It lights up my drive way as I back my car in.
Several months later, the other unit I mounted in the garage, by my entrance door so it would light up the key lock at night. That is set for motion only, & prompted me to reset the exterior light to be the same function.
I had both beams on this one pointing down towards the door. They were too close & made them blink on & off. Spaced them a bit, & they work just gr8.
Can't understand how so many others are having such bad, bad, problems. Guess I got lucky..

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Mimi Poor Design- changing bulb is close to impossible
On 12/5/2010, I purchased 4 Model #5597 . The DualBrite and Motion Control Features work perfectly. The problem is that the design is horrible. Within 3 months, 2 light bulbs needed replacing. There is a tiny little screw that has to be removed, and the rubber gasket ring will not fit properly when the lamp shade is removed to replace the bulb. After purchasing a new gasket and bulb, the light worked again for about 5 months. I have exactly 1 light bulb out of 8 that has not been replaced. The other bulbs have been replaced several times each. Both the designer and the entire quality control department should have to climb a ladder & try to replace a bulb in this ridiculous light. The screw holding the shade on is a joke in itself, and the gasket is worthless. There is no way one person can hold all of these parts together when the light is mounted on the home. I purchased other lighting products from this company and have had no problems. The lights are defective both in parts and workmanship.

I reviewed this light a while back and gave it 5 stars. I have to change that now. This light worked fine for about 3 months and then stopped working. The sensor would get the signal but would not turn the light on. I purchased another one because I liked the the looks of this light. After 4 days it too stopped working.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sebastian Installed 1.5 yrs ago and working great
I purchased this light for my garage almost 2 years ago and it is working great. I have had to replace both bulbs once in this period (at different times). I have it set up so that when the sun comes down the lights will stay constantly on for 5 hrs at lower brightness mode. After that it turns off and will only turn on in full brightness if motion is sensed.
Installation was simple. Just make sure that you do not touch the bulb with your bare hands. Wear rubber gloves when handling the bulbs, otherwise they will burn out quickly due to contamination from your skin.
I only wish they would sell replacement LED bulbs for it.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by LittleRockGuy Don't buy this light
I bought a similar model several years ago. When it started malfunctioning, I decided to replace it with a similar light. I'm on my way to Home Depot to replace the 3rd light and it won't be a Heath Zenith. I wanted to keep the same light because I have several extra bulbs and they are expensive. The replacement lights would work for about a week or two and then start malfunctioning. The most common malfunction was the light would come on for about 30 seconds, go off for about 10 seconds, come back on, etc. A couple times several breakers were tripped because of the power surges. I didn't realize this was happening for at least a week. The bad reviews are real, folks.

I've installed hundreds of light fixtures in my life & never had a problem. This unit installed and tested fine...worked once or twice and stopped.
I took it down, checked and tested the feed/wiring, put it back together and it tested okay again. A couple of days later it is again...dead!
Stay away from this unit and be careful about buying another from this manufacturer.
