Works as described. Switches are a little funny in that you don't really have to "switch" them on or off, you can kind of just bump into them and they will change the light to on or off. Also note that this switch was controlling a fixture with 4 bulbs. I can have 3 CFL's but need to keep one incandescent bulb in as well. All CFL's, even when switched off, will flicker and buzz. Even with those caveat's, it was surely easier and less expensive then wiring a new switch into the room.

If you need a remote 3 way wall switch this one of the few choices out there. The electrical box switch works very well however the remote battery powered one feels like a cheap toy and works like one too. The remote switch needs to be switched very - very slowly/lightly other wise your lights will not turn on or off. Back in the day I built many an electronics Heath Kit & they were always high quality, well as they say, it's not like the old days any more. In conclusion, if you use a very light touch the remote switch will work most of the time. One more thought, extend the antenna in the wall for even small distances between switches and buy a 9v battery too (not included).

This product is wonderful. I use it as a second hallway switch where only 1 wired switch exists in an extremely inconvenient place. This allows me to have a light switch on each floor of my duplex home and I no longer have to run back up the stairs to control the light. NOTE: to all of you "dissapointed" users that say CFL bulbs don't work - they do but the trick is to use DIMMABLE CFL bulbs. I have used dimmable CFL bulbs successfully for over a year now with no issues. I have not wall mounted the switch because I like the convenience of carrying it from room to room as needed but wall mounting seems to be an easy option for someone that wants the switch in a permanent place.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Jimmy First one didn't last, hope this one does better
I purchased this wireless switch to replace one I had purchased last year. The first one worked well for about 6 months. We started having problems turning on the light using the wireless switch. I replaced the battery, but that wasn't the problem and it eventually stopped working completely. Hopefully this one will last a little longer than the first one. I wish I could install a wired three way switch, but the switches are on different floors of the house, and running the wires would be very difficult. This was a simple solution and would be great if it were more durable.

Product did not perform as advertized. Switch would not completely turn off light resulting in a very dim light being left on when it was actually turned off. 3-way switch was to serve a 10 x 12-foot room.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ALF9 easier than new wiring
Eliminated a need to crawl into attic to rewire when a new doorway was added. Works great.
The only concern was that the online description did not make it clear that it would not work with only CFL or LED lights unless an incandescent bulb was included in the fixtture.
I mixed a LED and an incandescent bulb to resolve the flickering problem when turning the light off.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by UNDay Does the job
The switch wasn't exactly like the one I replaced but it does the job. Only issue to watch is that the 'box' of the receiver (the one that goes into the original socket with wiring) is BIG. Really had to move wires around to get it into the old box. But it does the job as intended.

We needed a remote switch for a light in our dog run for which the only wired switch was on the far side of the garage and not at all convenient. This switch serves our purpose from about 20 feet away and even though the signal must pass through two walls from our kitchen. Love it.
