Rated 1 out of 5 by from These blinds are not intended for direct sun ight Our home is under renovation and the Interior Designer selected these blinds ( 4) different sizes in expresso. Well... after two days we exchanged one blind since several of the slats were warped on the ends. The next week the other window is now warped. The other two windows face the south and get less sun light so they are fine. At this rate we will have to replace next year. These blinds are not cheap and should be better quality The Interior Designer believes the company must have changed how they manufacture the blinds she has had the faux blinds for over a decade and never this experience. I plan to call the company and will update this post.

I am not sure how they can sell blinds that can not withstand normal sun exposure. I am very disappointed in this product. and will be returning them. Do not waste your time with this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, some install quirks I bought these primarily because they match the blinds the previous owner left in other rooms - easy decision. While installing, I realized the header is cut ~1/2" short, just as the blinds are, relative to the order size. That's normal for blinds & shades - but for this product, it leaves enough space for the header to jostle sideways in the mounting brackets (I did an inside mount - I think that this would be less of an issue for an outside mount). I used the workaround I saw in the other sets and wedged some of the cardboard the blinds came in at either end of the header, inside the brackets. Problem solved.

Clean and bright. The only problem is the pull cord on the right side that lifts the whole blind up and down is way too short. I'm 5'9" and I have to reach on tip toes. It doesn't hang down nicely like the photo. There are multiple thin cords, not the same length that are supposed to clip into the white plastic pull that is supposed to stay closed. It looks bad because the multiple strings won't stay in the cheap plastic cover. The left side open and close pulls work very well, better then a wand.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Buyer Beware! Please look at the review by Heather on September 1, 2015. If I had read it, I wouldn't have been surprised when the actuating rod in my blinds broke after 2 years of almost no usage. And, as she reported, neither H.D. nor the manufacturer can get the part, and they won't replace the blinds under warranty. There's no way that fiberglass rod could break under normal use, unless there was a defect in materials or workmanship. The rest of the features are very nice, but the fact that they quit working within one or two years makes this a BUYER BEWARE.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great upgrade Great affordable upgrade from standard blinds. They were very easy to install and really change the entire look of the space. I love them. Blinds were missing a center support for the most part I think blinds are opened and closed rather than raised and lowered donut hasn't been an issue. I got 3 sets and none of them have warped or anything although I am in LA. I think warping might also happen when blinds are inside mount and right up against the glass. I mounted them outside so there are a few inches between blind and window surface.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Why not DIY! The blinds were easy to install myself. I ended up paying far lees than if I had them installed. I saved a lot of money by measuring the windows myself and buying the 2 1/2" Premium Quality in store blinds and having them cut to size. When measuring just make sure you measure 3 ways in each direction. For example measure the width at the top, middle and bottom of the opening. Do the same with the length. Then have them cut to the shortest width and length of the measurements.

This was our first experience with these blinds and unfortunately, it was not a good one. One set simply fell apart when we pulled the cord to open them in the first week or so of hanging them. The other set, upon closer inspection, had holes for the little threads which attached to the pull cord on the left, but none of the threads were through the holes on one whole side! We thought it was odd that it didn't pull smoothly and we had difficulty getting them even but we had no idea they were defective when we hung them up. Though our experience with these blinds was less than stellar, the Home Depot customer service made the whole situation right by refunding our order without any hassle whatsoever. Due to their amazing customer service I would definitely be willing to try their products again in the future.
