We spent years researching different type/style/color/hardwoods/click and lock, you name it we looked at it. While shopping for another product in our local store this jumped out at us, took couple samples home and compared to what we've collect over the years, bingo, we found it. The color is soft, not to bright or light to fit in our farm style home. Add in the markings, scraping to make it look worn and we have the flooring we wanted. Installer had no problems during the install cutting/staple/clean-up, installer remarked on how this was the best material he has ever put in and wanted to know where we got it in order to pass onto other customer how nice this product is.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Patty Maple was a good choice for a floor with variation
This floor looks great, I originally wanted hickory because I wanted variation in the floor, but my husband was too worried it would swell. Well this floor has wonderful variation better than I expected and I love the beveled ends and how they look when they come together. The scraped look once down makes a nice touch. Very pretty floor and we are still working on the kitchen and not a scratch on it. Plus we have to cats and 3 kids. We could not be happier, my pictures do not do it justice.

I had it professionally installed. The finished product is so beautiful. No bad pieces in the boxes. 550 sq feet of this maple flooring. Love it so much, thinking of putting it in the kitchen. Easy to clean.

Overall I like the look of the product except for the hand scraped parts. They all look the same and not natural.

I discovered during installation that the board widths were not consistent. I saw differences in width of almost 1/8". This made it impossible to butt boards against each other in certain places. Other than that the floor looks great.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Mark Wood looks butchered
The hand scraping and distressing is very disappointing, rather than giving the floor a natural, worn look it just looks like the wood has been hacked to pieces by someone with a chisel. Some of the tufts produced are even sharp enough to give you splinters.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MDCB Beautiful Floor, Easy to Install
We installed this flooring in our kitchen over plywood subfloor and it was easy and relatively quick to install, looks great and is a beautiful, unique color not found in many other flooring choices. It's nice to have a maple that has more grain to minimize the appearance of any dings or scratches you may put in the floor later.
Another review noted chisel marks; the in-store sample showed some of the markings and they are not deep and on the delivered flooring are not splintery. We view this as part of the character of the "hand scraped" feature and since it is a maple, will reduce how noticeable future dings and dents appear. You need to be prepared for these features as it is inherent to the product. These markings are primarily concentrated on the end of the boards, but occasionally on the middle of a board or two per box.
I would have preferred a little more randomness to the board-length scraping as when the sun hits the floor at a certain angle, it appears a bit like a uniform wave. Only other comment is that it would be nice to have a few more long boards per box.
