Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by BigMack Great product but cheap hardware
The island is a great space saver, however the install instructions are not written well. The hardware is cheap, I broke two of the cam locks while installing and both drawer slides had to be adjusted to ensure they closed completely. The drawer pulls holes were not drilled deep enough to allow the screws to contact the pull. With 1/4 inch increase in the depth of the holes the pulls were installed. Once the cabinet was completely installed, one door would not close completely. I could bend the hinges by hand, but a change of all four hinges was not expensive and the doors now work well.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Tammy Not unhappy at all - highly recommend it
Overall we are very pleased with the quality of this product! It is a sturdy wooden kitchen table, made from a solid wood and not processed wood that's been made from chipped wood, like plywood...cheap kind. It's easy to slide the table since the bottom of the table is slightly padded. Then why did I give 4 stars and not 5? Well, assembly were not easy to figure out; good to have a husband who knows carpentry with proper tools to build it. Otherwise, you probably will have to pay someone professional to do it for you b/c the tools it comes with are a joke...you will need real tools for this. Some drawback were that some of the parts were broken so we had to go back to the store to get them.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by jean851 pretty solid product, very functional
When it finally came together, I was satisfied with my choice; it's solid, attractive, (I painted the base of mine to match my kitchen and it turned out really nice) and very useful. The road to assembly, on the other hand was wrought with much second guessing; the quality and solidness of the wood verses the quality of the production, the method of joining the pieces together is the standard pre-drilled cam locks, not the greatest alignment of holes, hinges, etc., even with two people it is challenging to assemble, three would definitely ease the frustration. I was prepared for it to be difficult based on other reviews and once it was together I was happy with my choice just as others were as well.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by happyislander Really nice!
When my husband assembled it, it was a little tricky in couple places and he broke 2 cam locks. One hinge was a little crooked, but I emailed them and replacements were sent within 2 weeks. I love the quality and have gotten many compliments on it. We were a little short on cabinet space and counter before this. This is nice and deep so now everything is in it's place. Love it!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Brianputittogether love the island
It's heavy, but can be moved easily. It's the perfect height and plenty of storage room that I needed. No unsightly wheels that most portable islands have. It did take 3 people to put it together. There were a couple tricky areas that my wife and daughter had to hold it while I placed the pieces together, but we did it in a couple hours.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by mfaf1 I really like this island
This island is very functional and I really like it. The one problem we had is the bottom piece was broken when it arrived. We received the replacement part with no problems, but when my husband was assembling the island the same piece broke and he had to repair it.

We bought this to use in our basement kitchenette area and it is so much nicer than I ever anticipated! The finished piece is beautiful and doesn't look like it was put together at home. Lovely golden oak color. Very sturdy with loads of storage space! A good price and delivered in a timely manner.

This DOES look far better in person than on the screen! It's very sturdy and nice. You WILL need help putting this together...we ended up needing 3 people at certain times to hold everything together while building it.
