Answer: 
16VA. My town home only has the one front door bell and there are two wires running from the transformer to the chime. Can this unit work with only the two wires?

Answer: 
The Décor Design Series of hard wired door chimes require the use of a 16 volt, 10va stepdown transformer to be properly powered. The Honeywell part number for that transformer is RCA900N.
