Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Extremely Potent This stuff kills every kind of little bug that gets on your nerves and in your living space. Make a line with the powder and they either don't cross it or if they get it on them they die. I mixed a little of the powder with some water and squirted it all around the outside of my apartment mainly where the walls and ground met. I poured a line of just the powder outside in front of my door and patio door. Two and a half years now and I don't have ants, waterbugs, centipeds, spiders or roaches. But be careful of your animals getting into it, this stuff is VERY potent and will also kill plants that come in contact with it, which my Apt. manager hasn't noticed yet! This stuff also HAS NO ODOR. May 16, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome product! I moved into my own apartment about 3 weeks ago. When I was first able to see the apartment I had seen one roach in the sink, I didn't pay any mind to it thinking it wasn't going to be a hastle. As days went by after moving in, they really began coming out at night to the point where they were everywhere including my room. I told my complex about it and it took them over 2 weeks to get terminix over (which I don't think did absolutely anything with the gel they put around, or it might have). I became stressed at the fact that I couldn't sit still in my own living room and always looking around walls and borders. I came across this product in Home Depot and I literally sprinkled the powder all along borders around the kitchen and anywhere I think they might be coming out of. Obviously the first night doesn't work, but as they came out I made sure I sprinkled some powder on their backs and legs and watch them go back to their nests. Hahahaha let me say, after a week I began to see less and less. I also bought the "Bengal roach spray" and it's awesome! Kills them instantly! Anyway I definitely suggest buying this product. Good luck. August 25, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by what in the world!!!!! This beats everything, literally everything I ever tried. I really don't have a roach problem, but hate seeing even one. This keeps them away and if they cross the barrier you find them dead. You need to get you March 18, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Get rid of the Sprays! Due to a new, dirty neighbor, I suddenly found myself with a bug problem - they were entering from plumbing penetrations in a shared wall. I have used sprays in the past - around doors and windows to keep ants and crickets out. These sprays with "long lasting barriers" actually work pretty good for that purpose. However, for the new invaders, they were pretty much useless, even after several applications. I decided to try this HotShot powder. Just 2 days after applying HotShot, the number of visible bugs had decreased by 95% and those that *were* seen were definitely "under the influence" and lethargic. 5 days after the application, ZERO bugs were seen. Please note that this product does not Kill On Contact - it sticks to the legs and antennae of the critters and is ingested when they clean themselves and others. It is also carried back to thier nests for consumption by others in the group. So, you have to give it a little time to take effect. While the application of the powder can be a bit messy, it is highly effective. Care must be taken not to leave piles of the powder - you just want a fine "dusting" of the areas. Instead of cutting the tip of the application nozzle off as I did, I would try using a pin to create a small hole in the tip. Unlike the liquid sprays that lose their effectiveness over time, this stuff will stay active as long as it stays dry. Cleanup is easy for any over-application - just wipe down the affected surface with a damp cloth. You may want to wear a dust mask when applying this product. Unless your pets have a habit of snorting under your counters and cabinets, this stuff is pet friendly. December 11, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by No more bugs! Had an issue with roaches. Tried other baits but still would find one running about. Bought this powder and used it against my walls. One month later, I have not come in contact with a roach or any other crawling insects! December 30, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Totally did the trick! This stuff really works! It takes about 3 weeks but have not seen a bug anywhere! Its cheap and way more effective than the pest control man! September 26, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Still have a few. I never had a roach before in my life, then all of the sudden I have hundreds of them. I was not really all that excited about using a powder in the same area as my dog and kid, so I first tried COMBAT Kill Max. It worked great when it was wet, but after it dried, it seemed to loose it's effect. I decided to get this because I think the roaches started to catch on to the bait. I but it behind the fridge, stove and some under the sink. Within a day or two, I noticed more dead roaches. What's nice about this stuff is they don't have to be hungry to come into contact with it. If you place it where they walk, it should infect them. I still have a few more here and there, so did not kill them all, but I will try to put more down this week to snuff them out. April 7, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Boric Acid is the only thing I needed something safe around pets and it kills even the dreaded TICK!!! June 24, 2014
