I have had a Keurig for the past year and a half, and brew at least once a day and have used multiple k cup varieties. The Starbucks House Blend k cups are the only ones that have not brewed properly. I received the 24 pack of them around 1-15-12 and they are dated on the cup to have been manufactured 10-2-12. More than half the time when I place them in the brewer it only produces 1/4 of what it should and then grounds are jammed up in the port and i have to run a water brew and paper clip the ports out. This has happened with 7 out of the 12 cups that I have tried so far. I use 90 % of the other varieties because I am afraid that I'll have to waste my morning cleaning the machine because these things are defective.

I enjoy this coffee in the mornings with a little bit of creamer added, but if you drink it on an empty stomach, you will soon hear all kinds of rumblings in there, so maybe it's best with a side of breakfast.

I've never been a fan of Starbucks but I was willing to give their medium roast KCup a shot. One sip and I poured it out. I think the people of Starbucks need to figure out what a medium roast taste like. Their coffee tastes burnt and acidic to me. Just a step below drinking straight espresso or Cuban coffee without sugar. I think a coffee blend that might appeal to me from Starbucks should be called water and then I'd still be apprehensive.

Best of both worlds... Strong yet not acidic. Bold flavor that portrays all other K-cups as underwhelming.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by j9mo Perfect cup of strong coffee
I expected this to become my "everyday" coffee, but I've found it to be a bit stronger than I expected. It's perfect for days when I need a little more of a kickstart. I am not a coffee expert, so I cannot accurately describe it using words like "acidity" or "mouth feel," but it's a nice, strong, cup that's just bitter enough to NOT need cream/sugar.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Retired X 2 My all time favorite
This is best described as a baseline coffee. By that I mean a good starting point when you are not in the mood for a very bold coffee, but want much more than a light bodied or mild roast. This coffee where not as sophisticated as some, is a everyday "go to" for most people. Wonderfully simple, yet far from average by anyone's standards.

Admittedly, I have not been a coffee drinker. I tried this one because I thought there had to be something to this Starbucks thing since so many people seem addicted to it. This one was extremely bitter. I had to give the cups away because I couldn't drink it.

This coffee is absolutely perfect in my eyes. It is so pleasing to the pallet! One of the few kcups I can drink without a drop of cream. I drink it all day long! It has Great body and acidity, the flavors are pleasant and the aroma is makes my mouth water! Definitely my go to coffee.
