I read the other reviews and almost decided not to order this ironing board. I checked prices for the more expensive boards and decided I wasn't going to pay more for the board then I did for the iron! I've ironed about 12 pieces and find it to be sturdy and handy - the hanger piece and the iron rest. So far, it's fine. I was disappointed with the pad under the cover since it was creased at the narrow end and causes a problem with ironing but the crease seems to be softening up with use so hopefully it will smooth out soon. Not bad enough to return the whole item.

I have read all reviews and took a risk buying this iron board. People are telling the truth. It is shaky, unstable, thin cover pad, very low quality metal that bent if you have heavy iron or set your iron and high heat. Only slight touch to it will shake off your iron to the ground. Happened to me twice and almost break the iron.Could not return it because I have to pay for shipping.

Disappointed with this product. Poor quality, the legs are not even, so it does not stand straight and tips back and forth. Flimsy construction making opening and closing more difficult than it should be - align and adjust the notches on your own and doesn't slide easily. Bulky with the iron holder at the end which also makes it space consuming to store.

There are two bad things about this ironing board. 1. It is very light and sort of flimsy, but that's not an entirely bad thing if you have to move it and carry it a lot; 2. It is very hard to open because the toothed bar that holds the crossbar in place under the ironing board slips underneath the crossbar every single time you start to open the ironing board to set it up.
If I had known this, I would not have bought this ironing board. And I'm not sure how long it's going to be before I give up and buy a more sturdy ironing board.
However, there is one wonderful thing about this ironing board:
If you are tall, as I am, and you manage to get that crossbar working properly, you have a nice high ironing surface. Where most ironing boards stop at 36 inches high, this one goes to 40 inches high and that makes a huge difference.
I would recommend it, but only to tall people and only after noting the above.
Also on the good side, placing an iron holder at the end is a great feature.

Large surface for ironing. Sturdy, yet lightweight. Handy iron holder and hanger rack for conveniently storing hangup items. I am pleased with the product and would recommend it to others.

THIS IS AN EXCELLENT CHOICE...IT HAS AN ALL-IN-ONE SET UP. THE ONLY THING YOU NEED TO BUY EXTRA IS THE OVER-THE-DOOR HANGER.

About $25, free shipping! Looks good and has a shelf for the iron. I only iron 1 or 2 things a week so this was exactly what I was looking for. I would definately recommend this product.
