Can I put this on the end of my hose, before my tool? What will happen if it is not vertical? Will water be sucked back into the line and into the tool?

Answer:
This is made to be mounted next to the compressor. Vertically. Filter side on top. Clear bottle on bottom. Otherwise the water will lay in the filter and wont drain.

Answer:
Not really but as it fills up it would be best to have it vertical to fill it up without having it pass oil or water. If you must run it tilted, just keep an eye on it more often to make sure you don't fill it up to the top.

Answer:
Definitely filters out oil. No minimum pressure. I am using it as an oil catch can on my Kia Sportage crankcase breather and it catches all oil.

It's the only perfect candidate for an application but I can't find one of those in Europe, and I need one exactly like that one. If you could please post an auction on ebay I would buy it for a reasonable shipping cost ofc. Thanks in advance!

Answer:
It simply Unscrews from the bottom. Where the Clear housing contacts the Metal body. NOTE: There is an O-Ring inside. Needs to be reinstalled or you will have an air leak.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 20 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Water Separator Hi all. I have one of these installed on my 6 year old air compressor. Which had to be replaced recently. And with my previous experience with HD and this Water Separator, I decided to get a new unit. Have never had any issues with water getting through the line. If you're Painting, This would be the Primary Filter next to the compressor. They make smaller units that attach to the paint sprayers. March 1, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works awesome for a Oil Catch Can Using this as an oil catch can on a Kia Sportage. Works excellent. Good strong design and no leaks. December 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Water seperator Great addition to my compressor. this will save my air tools from moisture damage November 10, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fits the bill I feel more secure in using my air compressor with this filter attached. I think it will keep my tank free of moisture that might over time compromise the integrity of the tank. I do release pressure in the tank at the end of my project, but this filter does the job of keeping most moisture out of the tank instead of building up in the tank. I definitely recommend this to others -- just make sure you get the right size! October 13, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by So worth it add on This little device can save your tools from rust or help with a better paint job. Easy to add on because it small. October 1, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Works, but leaks out of the bottom valve. Bad valve design that leaks and nothing can be done. Will return and find something else. Don't bother with this. August 25, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by its just ok it works fine for a low end filter, its also very affordable August 11, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Small thing is great! I am a carpenter so this filter gets used at least half of all the work days in a year. My previous one (exact same model, packaging, everything) lasted about 5 years. Water and dirt is the main reason for nail gun breakdowns and the need for oil. This filter removes what the compressor doesn't keep back. When using these filters I seldom oil my guns. April 21, 2015
