How do I get a replacement Replacement Hose?

How can I go about getting a replacement hose for this inflator. Mine is about 18 months old and it leaks.
Asked by: rw67
Husky HY120 (part/model # 365 164) 120V Inflator. After about a year of use, I noticed a small hole in the air hose approx. 1 inch behind the metal fitting coming out of the inflator. Since a replacement air hose is not available on this model, I decided to try and fix it my self after reading a few comments from other poster here. This is an easy fix. The fitting (coming out of the side of the compressor) is a 10mm. Locate the leak and cut the hose at that point. In my case, I only had to cut off about an inch. Carefully unscrew the fitting off side of inflator. There is a thin, black metal crimp that has to be removed. I cut mine off with wire cutters. Be careful removing this thin metal. It is sharp. After removing the black metal crimp, remove any remaining rubber hose and check that the threads are not damaged on the fitting. Now, simply screw the fitting back into the inflator using thread seal tape and snug down. Don't over-tighten. Slide the air hose back on to the fitting and add a small hose clamp careful not to over-tighten the hose clamp, either. Your done! Easy-peezy-japaneezy!

can this be charged indoors and then unplug it and use it outside to inflate my car tires?

Asked by: wahoo
No needs to be plugged in to use. Use an orange outdoor extension cord. I did.

Is air hose included

Asked by: Mike
yes, the air hose is attached and is about 2ft long. In the picture you see it coming out of the inflator on the right side and wrapping around the base. I'll admit they did not show that very well. The end of it has a nozzle that clamps onto the valve on car or bike tires (Schraeder valve style).

Inflating RV tires

I have tried several pumps that die when trying to put 100 psi in an RV tire even though recommended for 150 psi. Will this do the job?
Asked by: Steve
Not in my opinion. To small.

120-Volt Inflator is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 402.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hose breaks at joint My hose broke after a few months. I believe it was because of the way the hose is bent for storage. It broke right at the inlet which has a lot of pressure applied to it in order to bend the hose into storage tracks (it wraps around the compressor). You can see this bend in the product photo. I can't find replacement part for this either. Waste of money. Buy something with a replaceable hose or you may end up with a nice little compressor that can't do anything for you!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Compact Inflator As a plug-in, it's not helpful for parking lot inflation, etc. However, this compact unit works so much better than similar ones that connect to a 12v cigarette lighter. The only issue that I have found is on jobs that require extended usage over 10 minutes, it runs extremely hot. Overall, it is recommended and I have enjoyed this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice, however . . . This inflator worked very quickly to fill my motorcycle tires. The reason it only gets a three star rating is that I already have to replace parts. It seems that the clear plastic over the gauge is damaged and will not come clean. It appears that I'll have to purchase either another gauge ($$) or do with out a cover over it. Outside of that, I really like it! If Husky has a website then I'll try and get it fixed under warranty. Of course, the receipt is long gone. Unfortunately, this is the second Husky product I've recently purchased that has proven to have quality problems.

It is MUCH quieter than my last inflator and the pressure gauge appears to be (reasonably) correct. I thought the "glow in the dark" face on the pressure gauge would be a gimmick but it has really come in handy! It pumps up tires quickly and quietly and takes up very little space. See attached photo for size. It has a sturdy grab handle so i hang it on the wall in my garage by the handle. Great buy!

The first one purchased had the hose break where it joins the pump body - there's a sharp bend at that point (hidden in the photo). The replacement has functioned satisfactorily. The pump works well with small tires such as on lawn tractors, trailers and is a very convenient size. I haven't tried it on larger tires but think there might be a problem with operating time for large items.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value and accomplishes my need I have had great use of this product so far. I read ahead of time to be careful of the hose which I have, so no problems there. It is a bit slower than the gas station pump inflating my car tires, but it does the job. So now, in the winter, I will fill my tires at home in the garage instead of outside in the snow in the line at the gas station. Also filled my bicycle tires very well!
