This does not fulfill the duties of a real floor jack, but If you are a do-it-yourselfer who changes your own oil, replaces your own brake pads and rotates your own tires, you probably already have a real floor jack. When rotating my tires, I like to raise up one side of the car using the reinforced front and rear pinch weld locations. I usually use my real floor jack to raise the front, and my car's scissor jack for the rear. But I was tired of the hassle of getting the scissor jack out of the trunk and the tediously slow process of raising & lowering it, so I started looking around for an inexpensive alternative. I found many floor jacks in the $60 - $140 range that might serve the purpose, but I really didn't want to spend that much, and the reviews showed a lot of complaints about leaking seals & loss of pressure in those jacks. Then I found this inexpensive little trolley jack under several different brand names ( Torin Big Red T82002 - $20 @ Amazon & $29 @ HD , Maasdem Power Lift - $38 @ HD or Amazon, Performance Tool W1606 - $45 @ amazon) and this little guy, the HUSKY 2-ton hydraulic trolley jack for only $17 at Home Depot!!! In reading the reviews for all these little clones, I saw that most of the complaints were aimed at how little it is and the inadequacy of the tiny 13" lift height at full extension. There were actually fewer complaints about bad seals and losing pressure than in many of the jacks I'd researched in the $60 - $140 range. I like the fact that Home Depot made a little video showing how to bleed/purge air from the system. The jack's manual also does a good job of explaining how to add/change the jack fluid if needed. I picked one up at my local Home Depot and went home to rotate the tires on my 2015 Camry. I opened up the cardboard box and was a teeny bit disappointed that it didn't come with the cheap plastic molded case that was the target of some ridicule in many of the clone reviews I'd read. But I didn't really care since I wasn't going to be hauling it around in my trunk. It is very light weight, but it seems at least as sturdy as a scissor jack, and I am pleased that it has steel wheels and castors. Before jacking up the rear of my Camry I performed the little "purge" procedure, just in case. Then I placed the jack under the pinch weld toward the rear of my car and jacked away! Success! It raised the rear tire about 1" off the ground! I jacked up the front wheel using my real floor jack, and went to work removing and rotating both tires. I happily realized that unlike my real floor jack, I can simply remove the handle from the Husky jack to negate one possible tripping hazard. I finished that side lickety-split, then I rotated the tires on the other side. I experienced no "sinking" or loss of pressure in the little Husky jack. Even if I had, I knew the recommended procedures for fixing the problem, and that HD has a 90 day return policy, and the unit has a 1 year warranty. Considering the fact that this little jack only got my Camry's rear tire off the ground by about an inch, I doubt that it will do the same with my wife's 2013 RAV4. But heck, every competent do-it-yourselfer has a couple short lengths of 2x12 kicking around to stick underneath it - right? If this little jack holds up for about 5 years, I'll come back and give it a 5th star!

It's too short to be practical when attempting to utilize jack on vehicle cross member jack point whether using car's front middle or rear jacking points, due to shortness of this jack's bar you cannot gain any leverage.

If you don't want to buy a large shop jack then this will do the minimum, it certainly doesn't lift any 2 tons and is questionable as to how high it really goes up. If all you need is to lift a tire to change it this works.
