can't figure this out. per one of the reviews, it sounds like even if I do, it may switch modes in the middle of use.

Answer:
I put a drop of oil on the shaft where the shaft connects to the direction
changing wheel. With the slight pay on the shaft I worked the oil into the
wheel and tada, the direction wheel worked.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice portable bits These bits work for torx, slotted, phillips, vetox, square, etc. Usually a bit on a screw driver type shaft doesn't give you much torque, bit since the handle is so fat you really can use these to loosen stuck parts pretty well. I used the torx bits to tighten some connectors on my car and tested some already tight bolts to see if I could get them off, and with a little grunting had no problem. And the included storage container is pretty nice; keeping everything neat and organized. Hope the plastic holds up. October 4, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by difficult to use Not very happy with this. I can't get it to change directions, if i do change it it changes right back. I have 2 bits that are ruined already and I've only had this for a week. The bit holder opens very easily so if I carry it by the handle the bits fall out. The only plus is the color coding, I was easily able to return the bits to the proper location every time they fell to the ground. Also not magnatized bits. It dose claim to have a 'forever warranty' looking in to that now. April 17, 2011
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by my thoughts this is a very handy tool for around the house.it has all the different types of bits needed for anything.from takeing apart your vacuem sweeper to tightening drawer handles.i love the color coded bits.the handle is comfortable to grip.this tools only downfall is the way it switches from tighten to losen.it takes 2 hands to do this and sometimes(as we all know)haveing 2 free hands while working doesnt happen. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good enough Good enough for household tasks and the price was great! July 31, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good for light duty use. This is a decent tool for "around the house" work. It probably wouldn't hold up well for every day professional use but for the price, it's well worth it. I keep it in the kitchen 'stuff' drawer so it's handy for quick jobs. August 31, 2011
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Husky Bit Driver Set I purchased this Torque Bit Set on sale at Home Depot, it is good for the money, driver is easily managable, bits are of good quality December 6, 2011
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by screwdriver set its handy to have the bits with the screwdriver as I don't have to look for them February 28, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by It's pretty good. It's pretty good. It's a screwdriver with a lot of different heads. That's useful. September 6, 2011
