This electrical iron board is overall fantastic!. Could not have asked for any better. My only regret and it is my fault is I didn't think my room would fit the bigger size one and I read so many good reviews about the 42 model that I just got this one instead. I installed in my laundry room and it is perfect. It is a little hard to iron bed sheets for example just because of the size of the iron board but it is not a big deal because for the most part we iron clothes. The best thing about this board is because it is ready to go you can iron something right when you ready to go to work without wasting any time. Before it was so incovenient to open my old iron board in the morning that I would not use that cute top because it needed to be pressed. I would recommend this iron board, however I would go a size bigger if you have the room. I know it is a little more expensive but it is worth it for sure. You need a professional to install it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Meme I love my hidden ironing board, I can leave the laundry door open and no one sees anything.
Easy to install for my husband. Not so easy for me because it's so heavy. But it's sturdy and I love that.

I ordered this on line. I called the help number before ordering and specifically asked if this was finished. I was told it was. It is not. The top wood is 1/16" laminate. No trim either, so it looks really cheap--especially since this sticks out 3" further from the wall than the other sizes. I will be returning this and incurring yet another change fee with my contractor.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Desaragous Best purchase ever!
This is one of the best things I purchased for my new home. I put it in my laundry room and covered the door with the same wall paper as the walls. It looks so elegant. Only problem is I cant find the size light bulb to replace the bulb. Iron board swivel is worth the extra $. So happy I decided to get that one. It really makes a difference when ironing! Makes storing the iron easy and invisibe. Also the shelves can hold lots of stuff needed like spray starch, scissors, iron on tape, I placed a magnet inside to hold my sewing pins and it's so handy!

Unit is well built and solid. The top of the door was slightly dented in the corner and I did not want to deal with returning and reordering it, so I filled the corner, sanded it and painted it...(which I intended to paint anyway). It was a bit more work for me, but I am only mentioning it now on the review, due to the added work needed. I believe these units are a bit overpriced. I bought a similar one 25 years ago in another home and it cost the same thing back then. Usually these items come down in price over the years, but this one remains pricey. Overall I am very satisfied.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Feehan Really good quality and a happy wife.
Excellent. It's very heavy and well put together. The electric parts are a bit cheaply constructed but in line with what you usually get these days. Mechanically and structurally this thing is a tank. I expect to be able to use it as an iron board or many years but I imagine the timer will have to be replaced at some point. The instructions that come with it are not very detailed. However it fits perfectly between to 16 OC (14 1/8 width and 47 tall for your rough opening) studs but you will need a cross brace at the top and bottom and if you're a lighter guy you'll need help lifting it. It's every bit of 70 pounds so make sure you have a cross member right where you want it to rest. Mounting holes to the studs are not pre-drilled. Use big screws top, bottom and side. My wife thinks this is the best thing I have ever done for it. It's a quality product and built for use.
