Answer:
The best time to paint any pool is in the spring when the temp is moderate and you're not using your pool yet. Most pool paints requires 7 days to fully cure.

Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 69 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product great value It has held up very well, but only had pool filled for two weeks. Prep work was extensive, First I drained and power washed entire pool, next I used an orbital sander with 80 grit paper and sanded entire pool, then power washed again. Then I waited a couple days for it to dry. I cut in with a brush and rolled the rest. I painted both coats at night so it wasn't applied in the sun. I waited 6 days with no rain before I refilled pool. I have a 35000 gal pool and only used 5 gal of the 7 gal I ordered. Covered really well. We used Royal Blue it looks very good. Price was GREAT compared to pool stores! June 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great!!!!! Great Paint only use one coat it took 3 1/2 cans. Easy to apply, Great color, Would buy again June 13, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by GOOD LOOKING POOL Bought 4 gallons of paint and wound up putting 3 total coats of product on my pool surfaces-pressure washed and muriatic acid to prepare-it gives such a deep blue color and looks very professional-a great product and great price April 23, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not What I Expected Easy application after tons of prep work. However within two weeks of refilling the pool (after a week to cure) bubbles and peeling began to occur (mostly on the walls and shallow areas. Big disappointment given all the work I put into it. August 2, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good paint for the price This paint was half the price as what I have used before. I was easy to paint and covered well. July 26, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Color lasted 2 months We purchased the royal blue and it was gorgeous for about 2 months. It is now faded terribly and it looks like it was never painted. We used this on a concrete/fiberglass/gunnite pool. July 6, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bad Paint started to chip a week after. Pool looks awful now and paint pieces keep clogging cleaner and filter. June 15, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by easy use using a roller, it applied and covered with ease and did dry quick. April 26, 2016
