Yes home use! I think it says "Commercial" so pros know they can use it too, strongly effective & concentrated. YELLOW Instant Power the only one I use--EZ & effective but not noxious or damaging-- keeping all our home drains running clear.

Instructions unclear when to run "warm water afterward, if not diluted before applying" #"warm" not hot so not kill bacteria/enzymes#. So I run a little warm water to disperse it after pouring a cup into each drain, & later I run hot water longer to sluice down any remaining broken-up clog residual. Read Less

No, you must use Enz-act Enzyme Drain Cleaner (go to MroChem.com) for home use. It is all natural and will not harm your pipes as it is 100% biodegradable.

Hi Tank, Organic lint (cotton, wool, or any natural yarn) should clear with no problem. Just read and follow the directions carefully. Suborn clogs may take some time. Don't loose patience. As noted in the directions, boiling water can expedite the process for stubborn clogs. Hopes this helps!

Answer:
Commercial Drain Cleaner will clear lint, but it will take a while. the bacteria and enzymes are not a fast answer. you can also try main Line Cleaner, it is a chemical drain opener that provides enough chemical to correct many problems. You will need to use the entire bottle of main line.

Answer:
Yes Commercial Drain Cleaner does work on food. Pour in drain and let stay in drain overnight. It works slowly so you might need 2 treatments.

Yes citrus cleans food/grease/soap fats better than toxic chemicals do, & this citrus drain cleaner doesn't harm pipes & people like harsher drain cleaners. Just be sure to follow with the directed cup of warm water to disperse bacteria/enzymes. I follow that warm water with papertowel on the drain rings since citrus acid can pit metal over time like citrus wears enamel off teeth if not rinsed/brushed off.
Also, I learned from a plumber to use the end of a straightened wire hanger with its tip slightly bent up to pull up clogs of hair/soap fat from drains before pouring in the drain cleaner.
Unlike other drain cleaners, the drains don't have to be capped, or the room ventilated, or leave this citrus cleaner undisturbed for any length of time. of time. But I apply at bedtime to let it work undisturbed overnight instead of daytime interference by bacteria/enzyme-killing handsoap & hot water. In the morning I run additional warm water to finish clearing any broken-up debris residual. Read Less

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by I honestly think I bought the wrong stuff, but it worked. You have to give time to work.i used over night, everything clogged again in morning. Then it drained fine again. August 23, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by doesn't work it doesn't work for my case, don't know how it is for others September 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best drain cleaner ever!!!!!!!! I spent a week trying to clear my sink and was at the point of pulling pipes out and replacing them when the sales associate turned me onto this stuff. He said to add half of it to the sink with the water in the basin and let it sit for 2 hours. I did this and it had not cleared. He said if this happened to once again fill the sink up and add the other half to it and use a sink plunger while it was draining. Clear the pipes like it was nothing. After working on this for countless hours and renting equipment to clear it this worked. August 1, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by NOT NOXIOUS EFFECTIVE "GREEN" CITRUS KEEPS DRAINS RUNNING CLEAR--LOVE IT! :D I never use liquid drain cleaners obnoxiously toxic to people, pipes, & water supply. But a relative handyman / janitor recommended this GUARANTEED-effective American quality name-brand (Scotch Corp.) citrust yellow as more "green" not irritating my MCS (Multiple Chemical Sensitivities) though since I'm sensitive I ventilate or run exhaust fan briefly after pouring into all drains regularly to keep running clear--preventatively weekly if desired though we don't need that often, so this concentrate lasts long with just a cup per drain. Label instructions unclear when to run warm water afterward (if not diluted during per instructions when needed); so I run a little warm water immediately after to disperse it, and later I run hot water longer to sluice down the drain any remaining broken-up clog residual. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Schotch Commercial Drain Cleaner Simply did not work on a sluggish drain. It didn't do anything except make the sink smell good for a few hours. May 31, 2016

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Didn't work at all for me. It was easy to pour into the drain but did absolutely nothing for my clog. Don't waste your money. March 31, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by It's a drain product!? It seemed to work just fine in all but one of the drains. The last one had something lodged in the u joint. March 28, 2016
