What are the ratios of N-P-K?

Asked by: Barbara
The product details says the ratio N,P,K is 13:3:4. I would suggest testing your soil before you buy this product. If it is only deficient in Nitrogen, then this is a great product for you. Nitrogen (N) – nitrogen is largely responsible for the growth of leaves on the plant. Phosphorus (P) – Phosphorus is largely responsible for root growth and flower and fruit development. Potassium (K) – Potassium is a nutrient that helps the overall functions of the plant perform correctly.

Can I use it in fruit potted trees?

Asked by: Mary
Hi Mary, I have used these spikes on fruit trees in pots (1-2 spikes per 18" pot) and they worked well. You don't have to worry about them burning your trees and they last a long time. I hope this helps.

It is an excellent fertilizer and I have used it on my citrus trees for several years now. I normally spike them in early spring and again in the summer. My trees are very healthy and get loaded with fruit every year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from works great I started using these 3 years ago and last year I had a lot more fruit on my tress and ever year seems to do even better. This year I have so many I have to pick some off to help the others o grow larger, I hate doing that. I have well over a 1000 Asian pears on this small tree.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best I know of Used this years ago on a Mac and seemed to help until the maple tree got too big. New trees were what these were purchased for-a Super Mac and a Pink Lady. Right on the Northern limit for Pink Lady and altho' made it thru last Winter thought a boost would be a good idea. Will be using rest of the spikes mostly on the Pink Lady as it gets bigger. Couldn't find the Spikes at BLowe's or any place else local (HD has never seen fit to grace us near Plattsburgh, NY with their presence).
