I read the reviews after we had ordered the oven (with an entire kitchenaid package) and our cabinets. We were terrified of the slow heat up times and smell reviews we had read online before our delivery. We made sure the electrician ran a 240 Volt 50 Amp circuit and I am happy to say this oven heats up quickly. We timed it in at just under 12 minutes to 350 degrees on the first three tries. It did take a while to get to 475 degrees almost 23 minutes. As far as the smell we did use water in a spray bottle and paper towels before we turned it on and wiped down all the surfaces. No smell, thank you to the reviewers who alerted us to this potential annoyance. The other complaint we read was you could not see the control panel well in bright light but we can read ours easily even in the morning sun. The convection works just like our old one and the 'conversion' of time and temperature was the same. A lot of worry for nothing. 6 months later and the wife is still very happy with the whole kitchen. I will be happy when I am done paying for the renovation - sign me WillBeSmilingIn2018

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by STT Do not buy this junk, I so much regret buying it.
What a piece of junk....all the positive reviews about this oven are sponsored. I wish I knew this before buying this trashy oven. Yes it looks beautiful, it is very modern looking and quiet but sucks when it comes to baking. Forget about baking a good pizza in it. You can never get a crispy crust without charred topping due to its faulty design.

After buying a GE oven that was a lemon and battling for a year to return it, we bought this KitchenAid model. It preheats fairly quickly (I think all modern ovens are slower to preheat than older models, so that is just a fact of life). Most important, the oven temperatures are accurate and the oven holds the temperature close to the target setting with very little fluctuation. The built-in meat probe is a helpful feature. My wife is a baker who has fine-tuned years of recipes based on non-convection baking, so we simply don't use the convection setting and I can't comment on that.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DET I love this oven!
The oven is well-made. The installation ran into some difficulties because we did not wish to hard-wire it in. Therefore we purchased a 6-foot pigtail, removed the flexible conduit, and attached the pigtail. This increased the installation time. Otherwise all went well and our oven is in and working!

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by MarkWyse Questionable temp and good looks, few smarts.
I've never bought an oven before but the time came to replace my 1960's model that was put in when the house was built The old oven was so bad we had to set the temp 250 degrees lower than the baking temp, then look at the little temp thing we hung off a rack to see if we were close.
Well, this model is closer than the 1960's model but not by much.
When it says it has preheated to 350 my temp gauge says its 270. The examples can go on and on, And yes, I tried several temp devices. So I have to set the temp 20-50 degrees higher, wait for it to preheat then check the gauge - I adjust from there.
Sad that so much money was wasted. Oh, and yes, I did adjust the calibration on the unit as much as I could. Unfortunately the factory calibration is very limited or else it might be just fine.
Good looking unit....should have more options for the price. Dumb things like the awful sound it makes when it has 'reached' temp. Makes me want to yurp.
Never again will I buy a Kitchenaid. The reviews were good but mostly paid for by the manufacture I figure.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dick Great Oven!
The oven is beautiful to look at and it works well. I like the fact that it doesn't get hot around the outside of the door unless you open it up. It must be well insulated. I like the temperature probe. I'm very pleased so far. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I bought this product a month ago along with a KitchenAid Microwave. Am delighted with the style, performance and quality. Have never had an oven I enjoy looking at and cooking in as much as the KitchenAid convection oven. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

We bought this oven about two months ago We really enjoy the blue interior color and the sleek exterior look. The controls are generally intuitive though I must admit to checking the manual once or twice to figure something out. One slight disappointment is that the oven seems to cook a little slower than our previous oven. However, we have noticed that it seems to cook more evenly. Installation is more problematic than I had hoped. I installed the open top warming oven myself. There were two challenges. First was the fact that the wires came out the kitchen oven on its top, where as our old had wires exited the oven on the bottom. This necessitated me extending the wires from our junction box to the cabinet above the unit and installing new junction box. The second challenge and loved the fact that our pool open in the warming drawer were able to be stacked directly on each other. The units each needed to have one shelf to sit on. This necessitated me building an additional shelf for the oven to set on. Luckily I happened to have some pieces of hickory that matched our cabinet exterior. Had I had to hire the wiring and the had I had to hire the wiring and the carpentry done, I believe it would have cost me an additional $500-$1000. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
