This grill was purchased three years ago for 799.00 and at the time assuming that because it is fully stainless steel there would be no rust issues. The exterior looks fine today, the interior however is a rust bucket. The adjustable door hinges are rusting and are no longer adjustable so the doors sag (see Photo), the grease pan under the burners has rusted away allowing grease into the bottom of the grill. The slide for the propane tank has rusted away (see Photo). The wheels which are spot welded have fallen off due to the welds rusting away (Note in photos we bolted the wheels to the frame). For the money spent and the name on this grill one would expect a better built product.
Will not purchase a Kitchen Aid Grill again.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Doc62 worst grill I've ever owned
This grill does not grill even on high with the temp gauge all the way to red. Every time it rains, covered or not, the grease cup is full of water. Less than 90 days, the burner covers and burners are rusting. I can't believe Kitchen Aid put their name on it! We just returned it and bought another Weber.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by RSA Absolutely the WORST Customer Service from KitchenAid
Purchased the KitchenAid Gas Grill pre-assembled by Home Depot. Installed NG conversion kit with regulator. Flame height can not be adjusted. When calling "KitchenAid" I discover that the warranty is through NexGrill. I've had the grill for 30-days. The representative tried to be helpful, however, the factory recommended adjustments would not work. I even sent the rep. pictures of the leaping flames. After 4-5 email exchanges, I stopped hearing from NexGrill. An email to KitchenAid was met with silence. The warranty specifically provides for "repair or replacement" if defective. Not Home Depot's fault, but my only recourse was to stop payment on my credit card. I will either need to purchase a new grill or pay to have an independent service company adjust/repair my new grill. Very disappointed in KitchenAid/NexGrill. A product is no better than the company standing behind it!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Reviewer Convenient and Easy to Use but Not Perfect
Delivery was on time and the packaging was robust with no damage. Assembly instructions were very complete, with pictures to help so that it took less time than anticipated (say 1 1/2 hours).
However, we could not use the grill as it arrived - there was a problem. The regulator was set at the factory in "restricted" mode so the grill would not go above 230 degrees. If this happens, call the customer service number in the owner's manual. They can e-mail you a fix that requires no tools and takes about 15 minutes, but YOU CAN"T USE IT RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX.
After resetting the regulator, heat was no problem. It does a great job with burgers, steaks, etc. My only complaint with the grill is that it does not do low temperatures (for bar-be-queing) well. Even with only one burner on the lowest setting, it achieves 250 degrees and there does not seem to be a way to get a constant lower temperature. If you are doing ribs, you will likely have to turn it off and on periodically to stay at 220 degrees.
On the plus side, it is easy to clean, easy to switch tanks, attractive and well made. It is very solid when moving from place to place, which we do on our patio. For the price, it is a good buy.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Chicagodiceman Beautiful grill but disappointing
I didn't experience any of the assembly problems mentioned in some posts. The quality of materials is excellent and the grill is a quality built product. The included cover improves the value. But.....
I have used this grill a number of times and although the thermometer might read >500° there was no sear. This is basically a big oven. Extremely disappointed that I can't even cook a decent hamburger on this grill. Bought the rotisserie to go along with it and it is a quality unit but again, without the proper heat distribution and a way to create grilled texture and flavor, it is a waste of time using it.
My goal was to purchase a quality gas grill to use alongside my charcoal grill. Or for those times when you want a quick grilled item. This grill does not provide me with those options. Extremely disappointed.

This BBQ works great for our family as it fits multiple steaks, burgers, and veggies while simultaneously allowing onions to be sauteed or bacon to be fried on the side burner. The slide-out propane feature makes changing the tank ergonomically easy. The grill heats evenly and the only thing missing is a searing plate. Would strongly recommend!
