My brother in law gave me this mill many years ago. We bake all of our breads and so we bought some hard red winter wheat and voila, flour. The mill is easy to clean and is as dependable as the rain here in NW Oregon. We grind flour and make all our baked goods about once a week and have been doing so for about 5 years. It connects to the Kitchenaid in a few seconds and is always ready to mill flour. I run it on 7 and by the time I have all the rest of the bread ingredients out and measured, the flour is done.

i bought my mixer 6 months ago and it was one of the best purchase I've ever made. I bake an average of 20 to 30 cakes per year, not to mention the pies and other deserts. my kitchen aid evenly mixes all my ingredients without me having to wonder will there be flour or sodas in parts not blended well. since I've mixed with this mixer my cakes bake a lot better and I give all my praises to my mixer, there is a big difference. this mixer is very durable and a lot more easer to clean than I could have ever imagine. I tell all my friends and family about my purchase and I also carry a photo of my mixer in my smart phone. love it.

I bought this back in November just because of the dicing feature. It does a great job on tomatoes and potatoes, but does not dice hard boiled eggs without gumming up. It also will not dice cooked chicken without gumming up so if you are looking to do those things look elsewhere, but for making salsa with diced tomatoes it did great. It will do onions fairly well, but gummed up on the peppers. It seems to be very selective in what it will and will not dice. The rest of the operations such as general food processing in the bowls work extremely well although I have not tried to grate cheese with it.

After many months of eyeballing kitchenaid stand mixers, we finally picked one up. I love the ease of use. It makes mixing things so fast and easy, and I can churn out a batch of cookie dough in five minutes. It doesn't take very much room, which is nice because my kitchen has limited counter space. The 5 quart bowl is perfectly sized- I have not felt limited in my recipes at all. My only complaint is that the motor sometimes grinds towards the end of the recipe. Not sure if this is normal or not, so I'm keeping an eye on it while I still have it under warranty.

I bought this mixer in November 2013. I'm not extremely happy with it. It doesn't mix all the ingredients. When you take the bowl off the stand and wipe down the sides with a spatula, you'll notice that there are dry ingredients on the bottom. It's also difficult for me to get the bowl on the pegs and slipped into the notch on the stand. I'm a short 5 feet and that could be it, but it's annoying nevertheless. My Sunbeam was better. I will keep trying though and maybe after a few more months of bread and cake making, I'll get the hang of it and like it better.

Love my KitchenAid Mixer! Picked up my mixer and came right home and made brownie, then bread, I won't go back to making it by hand ever again! Got my KitchenAid icecream maker attachment and threw and ice cream party with 20 people. The ice cream maker kept right up with me and put smiles on everyones face. They all said it tasted like the ice cream from when they were kids. I'm glad I saved up the money and made the decision to go with the KitchenAid. I'm dedicated now and won't have anything else in my kitchen! Thanks for fabulous products!

I'm a cake designer as a side job and really needed a mixer that was stong enough to whip my fondant, my mother has an artisan kitchenaid that is great for what she does but i was on the brink of breaking it with my fondant so needless to say i was hesitant to buy a kitchenaid for myself know what it did with hers.. but i bit the bullet and found some reviews about the pro seires architect that had 3 times the horsepower of my moms, it goes right through fondant like butter. I think this will be the last mixer i will ever need, very pleased.
