CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 236 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent product I bought this over 6 months ago and have been extremely pleased. The machine is easy to operate. My family has enjoyed all of the freshly made breads, pancakes, waffles, pies, and cakes that I have made grinding grain with this machine. The dial gives ample options for the fineness of the grain from very fine to coarse. Clean-up takes just a little time and effort, but you don't have to wash it each time, so it's no problem whatsoever. The process itself is loud, but that is to be expected. It is more quiet than the coffee grinders my parents' use to use. The flavors from freshly ground grain have been superior. October 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A great attachment I was all set to buy a single purpose mill grinder when I happened upon this attachment at a store. It work fantastic and is easy to clean. I like the fact that in could be modified to be driven manually if the need ever arose for it. Designed with basic mechanics and durable. Everything you need and nothing you dont May 28, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BEST PURCHASE i bought my mixer 6 months ago and it was one of the best purchase I've ever made. I bake an average of 20 to 30 cakes per year, not to mention the pies and other deserts. my kitchen aid evenly mixes all my ingredients without me having to wonder will there be flour or sodas in parts not blended well. since I've mixed with this mixer my cakes bake a lot better and I give all my praises to my mixer, there is a big difference. this mixer is very durable and a lot more easer to clean than I could have ever imagine. I tell all my friends and family about my purchase and I also carry a photo of my mixer in my smart phone. love it. May 15, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Pro Food Processor I bought this back in November just because of the dicing feature. It does a great job on tomatoes and potatoes, but does not dice hard boiled eggs without gumming up. It also will not dice cooked chicken without gumming up so if you are looking to do those things look elsewhere, but for making salsa with diced tomatoes it did great. It will do onions fairly well, but gummed up on the peppers. It seems to be very selective in what it will and will not dice. The rest of the operations such as general food processing in the bowls work extremely well although I have not tried to grate cheese with it. April 28, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dependable mill My brother in law gave me this mill many years ago. We bake all of our breads and so we bought some hard red winter wheat and voila, flour. The mill is easy to clean and is as dependable as the rain here in NW Oregon. We grind flour and make all our baked goods about once a week and have been doing so for about 5 years. It connects to the Kitchenaid in a few seconds and is always ready to mill flour. I run it on 7 and by the time I have all the rest of the bread ingredients out and measured, the flour is done. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent performance! After many months of eyeballing kitchenaid stand mixers, we finally picked one up. I love the ease of use. It makes mixing things so fast and easy, and I can churn out a batch of cookie dough in five minutes. It doesn't take very much room, which is nice because my kitchen has limited counter space. The 5 quart bowl is perfectly sized- I have not felt limited in my recipes at all. My only complaint is that the motor sometimes grinds towards the end of the recipe. Not sure if this is normal or not, so I'm keeping an eye on it while I still have it under warranty. April 29, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not as Great as I Hoped I bought this mixer in November 2013. I'm not extremely happy with it. It doesn't mix all the ingredients. When you take the bowl off the stand and wipe down the sides with a spatula, you'll notice that there are dry ingredients on the bottom. It's also difficult for me to get the bowl on the pegs and slipped into the notch on the stand. I'm a short 5 feet and that could be it, but it's annoying nevertheless. My Sunbeam was better. I will keep trying though and maybe after a few more months of bread and cake making, I'll get the hang of it and like it better. April 28, 2014
