Product Overview

From Klein Tools and built to withstand the rigors of the worksite, the 6 ft. flexible inside reading folding rule is constructed of tough nylon reinforced with glass fibers for durability and resistance to weather, abrasion, and most chemicals. The washable and waterproof fiberglass folding rule offers more durability than traditional wooden folding rules. For ease of use, the folding rule has measurements marked in black on both sides and edges, graduated to 1/16 of an inch (graduations are also engraved) on the inside. Red stud center indicators are marked every 16 in. The folding rule has positive locking joints and stainless steel spring hinges providing added strength and durability.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good fiberglass ruler. Folding joints designed very well. A very good design for the folding joints. My old wood one had a lot of marks on the side, this one should hold up better. I wish they had one in white.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fiberglass is good, interesting but good I don't know if this is the exact one I had but the one I had was both inside and outside, so until you got used to looking and making sure you had the right end it was annoying for my partner who is an old timer, I had no trouble being younger. It was interesting because after it got used you could bend the fiberglass to make a circle, not recommended but it was amusing. I would still have it but the joint which is made from plastic broke when I dropped it while it was open, so in that sense wood would of been better, but overall you never had to oil it, it kinda snapped closed/90degrees/open so it was good, and (if your at the right side) inside read.
