I've used the competing Fluid Master fill vale for decades and had recurring problems with proper adjustment of the length of the chain to the flush lever. Too often the Fluid Master float fails to fall during the flush and the tank never refills with water. I've frequently tried to improve the adjustment, but failures continued to occur. I installed my first Korky Fill Valve about one year ago and it worked flawlessly from the start. I just installed the Korky Fill Valve in my second bathroom. The instructions are clear. It was easy and took less than one hour to install (and I move slowly). It has a quieter fill than the Fluid Master. I suggest you check how the water connection is made between the base of the fill valve and your water source. The Korky protrudes a bit further than the old fill valve and it required that I purchase a flexible connecting hose to accommodate the change in length.

The product came with easy to follow directions and was really easy to install. I was having so many problems with my last valve. Had to constantly adjust the ball to make the water stop running. The QTFV eliminated the need for the old ball and lever valve. Once installed it actually filled the tank and stopped the water at the right level one the first flush without any leaks. It is such a relief to have a quiet toilet after listening to it run for weeks.

This Korky flush valve is great! Super easy installation and works as advertised. Comes with a clear step by step installation guide and all the needed accessories. Takes no more than 20 minutes to install. After shutting off the water to the tank, you'll need a bucket and a sponge to remove access water from the tank after it's flushed and perhaps a big wrench or gloves to remove the old nut underneath the tank - the one that holds the old flush valve in place. After that follow the installation guide.
The Korky valve isn't silent or super quiet. But it is quieter than the old one I had - which was similar to the basic cheaper valves. It has a better design and no moving external parts as everything is concealed in a one-piece housing. Looks clean and works well. Very happy with it. Definitely recommend it!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0Â by dcmikez much better technology than traditional fill valves
I used this to replace the functioning, but extremely loud and slow fill valve I used to repair my toilet about 8 years ago.
Set up was incredibly easy and everything can be done without tools except for trimming the fill hose where you'll need a pair of scissors.
The fill valve is great to install, simply take out the old one, measure the height so the top of the valve matches up with the top of the fill tube, twist the valve to lock the height then tighten the valve into place and attach the supply. piece of cake.
The valve is quiet, not silent, but you won't hear the toilet filling once you leave the bathroom. It's also very fast. Fills our 1.6g toilet in about 30 sec.
Great upgrade and I will likely get one for the new toilet I'm installing in another bathroom.

I have adjusted this a couple of times after I had this set replace the guts inside my main toilet. I have messed with it, I have noticed it still running, so I have configured it a couple of ways and still I have noticed it running on a bit. Last night I reset everything (there is a twistable depth adjustment) and so far so good, I downgraded it to a 4 because it was so easy to put in, it shouldn't be that hard to adjust. If I have any other issues I will post. I will say, it literally took 5 minutes to put in, adjusting it has been the time consuming part, but you can adjust the water level in any number of ways, I have a low flush usage to begin with, and now it is even better!!
