One arm has a 3/8 in. steel pin that fits snugly into a pocket hole while the other arm slides underneath the receiving material and features a swiveling pad that provides firm footing for the clamp without damaging the workpiece. The ultra-wide mouth and adjustable handle vise allow you to join wood for a variety of applications.

  • Provides secure clamping with no joint shifting, allowing a single user to mount right-angled attachments
  • Steel pin on top arm fits snugly in Kreg pocket holes
  • Swivel pad on bottom arm fits tightly underneath receiving workpiece
  • Ultra-wide reach is great for many applications, including cabinetry and furniture making
  • Use multiple clamps for extra stability when fastening long workpieces

Has anyone owned both the corner clamp and the 90 degree right and clamp? Can you tell me which is better? I want to build shelf units and need good clean 90 degree corners on each but I'm not sure why I would want one or the other.

Answer:
If you are nailing or 90* screwing corners, a corner clamp is fine and even preferred. However, if you use a Kreg jig to drill pocket holes at angles to conceal the joinery, the right angle clamp used the pocket holes to receive the clamp and provide superior positioning and holding power.

Answer:
Go to YouTube and watch the video "Kreg Jig® Skills: 90° Panel Joints." There you will see that the 90° right angle clamp is designed with a pin that goes into one of the holes drilled with the Kreg kit. If this is not what you are looking to do (use a clamp with a pin on one side), get the other clamp.

Answer:
I own both & found that both have their place. The corner clamp works well for situations where you are forming a 3-way corner. The Right angle clamp works well for situations with a 2-way (90°) face. If you were to purchase only one (for now), I would purchase the 90° Right Angle Clamp.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Kreg's 90 degree right angle clamp The Kreg clamp works like a charm. It's an excellent product in every sense. It's strong and with the right in-your hand feel. Love it. Jim, Bronx, NY May 24, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dont buy Cant get it to stay in the pocket hole and clamp just slips off. Not sure how anyone gets it to hold long enough to run a screw.... Giant waste of money! April 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Kreg clamp Great product when you need a helping hand. Works as it should. Fast shipping also from Home Depot. April 5, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Customer Service I ordered this from online. I received the clamp along with a number of other items. It looks like someone cut the soft material covering the grips or it was already torn. And no, I did not cut it when opening the box. I called and spoke with customer service, and was told I needed to bring it in. Considering the closest Home Depot is roughly 40 mins away, this isn't going to work. The whole reason I ordered online is so I didn't have to drive to our local Home Depot. I haven't opened the clamp yet, but I'm assuming at this point, it will perform its job. It's just frustrating to order a new tool and have it arrive in this condition. Heck, even the bosch jigsaw I ordered arrived all scratched up. January 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Addition I have several Kregg tool sets and this makes a great addition. The tool is well made and I see no problem with with this clamp serving me well for many years. March 15, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Does the trick Holds pieces tight for glue-up and assembly. Utilizes pocket holes. February 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Makes building cabinets and boxes much easier If you're using KREG jigs to make pocket holes then these clamps help out tremendously. They clamp into the pocket hole and underside and keep the loose board nice and flush and sturdywhile you fill the other holes with screws. Its like a third hand and i actually recommend getting two of these if you can. One at each end to keep it square the the edge while you screw the middle holes down. Love these things even if they are maybe slightly overpriced. Still worth it in my opinion, if you are using the KREG system to make any kind of cabinets or similar box-shaped stuff. October 21, 2015
