We use it to keep us warm in our basement while watching TV. It could be quieter, but overall it does a good job.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by John I am using this product in my camper and it works good for me.
Out of the box and it was ready to use. Did not need to put together or anything else.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Melanie I always go Lasko!
My parents own 2 models of Lasko heaters, and I previously owned one when I lived out of state. Recently returned to California, and needed something to heat my room at night when the temps drop. Tried a Honeywell first - priced $20 more than this one! - and it was not great. Had a high-pitched, cheap motor buzz and did not heat the room efficiently. Returned it after ordering this Lasko from Home Depot, and it's absolutely perfect. Nice, smooth white noise sound. Heats up the room in no time, and I love that there's a timer so it automatically turns off after I fall asleep. The structure is sturdy and comes with a handy remote that clips onto the back when not in use. It's simply the best brand for tower heaters. Highly recommended!

I appreciate that it has a remote control as you can turn it on prior to getting out of bed to take the chill out of the air in the room your in without turning the whole house heating system on. But in my case all the house to which I rent (built in the early 60's) only has a wall unit in the living room. I use this in the bedroom as I get ready for work. As most portable heaters you need to be fairly close to it.
