The 6' commercial fold-in-half table works wonderful. It is very lightweight. the convenient carry handles make it easy to move around and set up. I found the table to work great indoors and out. I set the table outside over nigtht in the rain and snow and it held up great. Quick set up with 3 easy steps, lock legs out, lock table and stand up. I was able to fold and store the table inside my camper with ease, for use while camping. My son set the table up and used it to build his legos on and he really enjoyed it. The cost and its many uses have really sold me on this table.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by hpiguy Incredibly Sturdy Utility Table for Heavy Use
This table will be great for commercial use as well as heavy duty home use.
One of the first things you'll notice is the table is heavy. I didn't weigh the table, but it's at least 45 pounds. This is due to the sturdy metal frame that completely encircles the bottom of the table frame and gives it it's huge weight capacity. The weight is not much of an issue because of the ingenious handle design.
The legs fold under the table and snap into a holding piece to keep them from flopping loose. The table folds in half, and includes a large carry handle built into the side that keeps both halves together when carried. Once lowered, the legs have a locking ring to keep them from buckling. The top also has alocking lever to keep it from folding if weight is placed on just one side.
Out of the box you'll have the table standing on it's legs in under 30 seconds. No assembly needed,no tools, it's ready to go. No directions needed either, it's a no brainer.
This table would be handy for swap meets, garage sales, woodworking projects, kids building models, holding large tools like table saws, drill press, and band saw or other uses like a large picnic, game night, anything you can throw at it. Another great use would be for processing game and home meats because of it's large weight capacity. The thick plastic top cleans off with a wet rag. Very simple.
It's not your ordinary folding table. This is made for a huge amount of weight, yet still folds up and transports easily. Folded up ready for travel, it's approx 3 feet wide, 3 feet long and six inches thick. Unfolded and set up, it's about 29 inches high, six feet long and three feet wide.
I'm going to have to get a few more of these. Easy storage and normally unheard of weight capacity for a folding plastic make this a real winner.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Doresoom Very Sturdy
This table is really sturdy and can handle just about anything you throw at (or on!) it. It's a little heavier than I first expected, weighing in at about 35 pounds, but after thinking about it some more, I'm surprised it isn't even heavier since it's rated for a whopping 700 pounds capacity. The fold-in-half feature really cuts down on the awkwardness of trying to move a full-size table with only one person. Plus the built-in carrying handle on the side aids in getting a good grip on it.
As far as set up goes:
-Unfold the table on its side and engage the red locking toggle in the center
-Pull the legs loose from their detents and unfold
-Move the lock rings over the leg support joints
-Stand the table up (I found it was easiest to do this step with one person by pulling up on the carry handles and shoving the bottom side of the table forward with one foot.)
The first test I put it through was for my wife and I to sit in the very center, despite the warning stickers on it saying not to do exactly that (Cue danger zone music!). It didn't noticeably deflect downward, nor did it feel like it was about to break. I wouldn't recommend trying this with any more than a few hundred pounds though, since I'm sure the 700 lb rating is for a distributed loading (~115 lbs/ft), which puts much less of a bending stress on the table than 700 lbs in the very center.
The table doesn't sit completely flat - there's a slight rise in the center. I placed a level flush with one side, and at the other end of the table it was 5/8" off the surface. It's not really that noticeable from up close though, and I coudn't even get a pen to roll off of it due to the slant, even with some coaxing. The only time you'll notice the slight "peak" in the middle of the table is while standing across the room from it.
-The surface is lightly textured, but the table is still easily wiped down with a damp rag.
-The legs are really sturdy, and they've got a cross piece at the bottom on each side to add stability.
-The feet are low friction plastic, and the table slides easily across our hardwood floor when unloaded.
This is a good all-purpose table that will probably find many uses throughout our home - from the garage for extra workbench space, to the dining room for extra seating! When not in use, it folds down small enough to get tucked into a corner of the garage or under a bed.

I have used a lot of folding tables, this one seemed good right out of the box. It has some weight to it, but it seems to be made with quality materials. The table seems like it will hold some weight.
Here are the BUTS:
The seem where the folding joint could be a lot tighter
On level ground the table bows up in the middle, not letting the middle settle all the way down.
Over all, I've had a few Lifetime Products and have yet to be impressed. They seem to miss the mark on building a quality product. If buying this table, do it at the store and pull it out of the box and check it for yourself, I hope I just got a bad one!

I've used this table several times now and I can't say that I have any complaints.
I chose this particular table because it seemed to be very easy to store in my already cramped basement. In addition, it seems to be very sturdy for a table that folds in half; I don't have any worries about it collapsing at the most inopportune time. Lastly, it is fairly light. This also helps since, like I just said, I store it in my basement which means I have to carry it up and down a full flight of stairs on those special occasions that I decide to use it.
So, yes, I would definitely recommend this to a friend or family member.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ToolTimeTony Very sturdy, attractive, haevy duty table
Table is very sturdy when opened. Attractive, easy clean top. Legs unfold and lock easily. Opening from folded positon takes a bit of effort. Weight is more than other tables of this type, but its due to the heavy duty nature of the table. Not to heavy to carry, just heavier than a similar unit I have. Wieght makes it a bit more difficult to turn over and stand uprigt when opening. If you need a sturdy table, an excellent choice.

This is a pretty nice table. It folds in half after collapsing the legs to make it smaller and easier to store and transport. When upright, the legs feel sturdy and strong. There is also a lock on it so that the legs will not inadvertently fold up.
Manufactured well, as most Lifetime products are. I think that it will hold up to the normal wear and tear it is designed for.
