Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Old Seaman Sturdy, easy to use.
This boat is sturdy, easy to use and well balanced. It is simple to get on and off of while in the water, which makes it a decent swim platform, as well as boat. The width (which is the reason it is so well balanced) does slow it down a bit. If you want a boat to race, this is not the one. However, if you want something that is reliable, easy to paddle for hours and light enough to toss in the back of the truck, this is exactly the boat you need.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Texas Great beginners kayak
This is a great beginners kayak. It comes ready for the lake with a paddle.
The 'sailor' sits on top of the kayak, rather than inside. So it has more of a feel of riding a Beach Lilo or Inflatable Water Mattress.
It is designed for still water, so it is not going to be much fun to ride where there could be wake from boats.
For playing around on a still area of water it is a lot of fun.
Molded areas on the kayak are used as foot rests, and several are provided to accommodate most sizes.
The backrest is set with an adjustable strap. I found this a little cumbersome to have to adjust the strap again to lay it flat for transportation.
The kayak has two carry handles, one at each end. I would have liked to have seen a handle or carry point in the middle. As it stands, you need two people to easily transport the kayak, a handle in the middle would have allowed me to carry the kayak on my own.
There was no user guide supplied. We were left to ponder what the symbols in some compartments were indicating.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Stan at Rock Hill Its so good, we got 4!
In 2012 we purchased our first sit-on-top kayak from Lifetime. My wife, who was afraid of all kayaks loved it because she did not feel trapped, and it is so easy to use. The next year we bought another, and the following year we bought 2 more. They are durable, lightweight, and everyone who comes to our lake house falls in love with them.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just Another Runner Perfect Small Kayak
It is small, reasonably light, fun in the water, and it still float with me, my wife, and my dog on it at the same time! (even tho it was quite squished). The only thing I didn't like is trying to carry it for long distances. There isn't really a great way to carry it. So I would just hold it over my head, but that means the kayak is pretty much the only thing I could carry. Besides that, it is awesome.

I have 4 kayaks and 2 paddle boards. Simple and fun entertainment. Easy to transport. Light in weight. We have had more fun as a family the last 2 summers than many before. It had brought family and friends together to enjoy a great day at the lake in the sun. They are durable and built tough. They have been dropped and dragged with no damage. We love them and can't wait till summer rolls around again. Thanks for the amazing memories Lifetime!!!

I bought 2 kayaks. They work great in the water. I would suggest better grips for carrying. It is small enough for 1 person to carry however there are no good grips in the mold so it makes it difficult for 1 person to carry. It would also be nice if the paddles snapped into the mold. We have to carry them quit a distance to get to the water and these simple modification to the shape of the kayak would make carry alot easier.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sarahleigh12 Lots of fun and easy to transport!
Got this with another bigger emotion kayak from lifetime as an anniversary gift. I really have love how easy it is to steer and use. It's light enough that I can pack it and load it on the car. It is really stable ( held two laughing 8 year olds without tipping). It has held up really well and is almost a year old and the color is still bright (no sun fading) and the back rest looks new. I would definitely recommend getting one of these!

We bought one of these years ago. From Bear Lake to Lake Powell its easy to transport and not to heavy to carry to the beach. From grandkids to adults we love our lifetime kayaks!
