Customer Questions & Answers

How far down from the drain opening do the threads go?

Asked by: Dan
Hello Dan, The threads usually cover around three to four inches on the drain. How far that descends below the sink drain will depend on how the sink was cast. I hope this helps. Cheers, Chris

Do not use plumber's putty?

Does that mean use NO putty or sealant at all? Or do you use a silicone sealant? Are the flexible gaskets sufficient for a 100% seal on this product?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor quality Purchased and installed two of these drains. One had to be replaced as threads on the post for stopper were stripped. Oil rubbed finish on one part of replacement drain came off on hands while installing. These were used to replace similar drains without overflow. The older drains were not as cheaply made as these imports and of much better quality.
