Does MOEN Lavatory Drain Assembly in Chrome (Model # 14526) include (pop up drain stopper, ball rod assembly, all as shown in the picture on the website) for a total of $6.85? Here is the link to the picture http://cache.vendaria.com/integration/images/ct/35/VpopHTML.html?bg=D6D7A5&nm=BZOpener&err=0&title=Demo&pf=t&fr=t&iid=jmIkUFkQcffdQVeUajbacdkfffaijkQgQji&ap=sys_homedepot_uid_202998755&uid=202998755&cf=3000&purl=sys_homedepot_uid_202998755
Because I just need to buy pop up drain stopper and ball rod assembly. I believe this is the right specification , but if not can I return it to a local home depot store with receipt?

I have checked out the local store but I have not seen this in the store.

Yes, Kit # 14526 comes with the items you mentioned and several others. I had to buy this kit for my Moen bathroom sink because none of the universal kits fit. Find the Moen Kit # 14526 on Home Depot's web site and place your order. The picture of the kit is everything you will get. The whole Kit is only $6.85.

Yes. It includes everything in the picture. The pop up drain was slightly longer length than the original one in my Moen sink. I just needed the ball shaft from the kit.

I bought a pop-up rod replacement that had a rod that was about 1 1/2 inches long after the ball, but that was for a Price Pfister. I bought it anyway to see if it worked for my Moen. It didn't.. I think I need something around 1 inch long.

Answer:
Moen Kit #14526 is mostly plastic - see Moen Kits #'s 96107 or 96497 they are chrome, brass, and plastic.
Note: the kit should come with an "O" ring which makes the connection of the plastic to metal water tight.
If necessary use teflon tape with the plastic to metal ----- or plastic to plastic.

Be sure you have the black rubber "O" ring gasket installed before assembly. On mine I had to replace the 1.25 slip ring male nut with the proper male nut with a wedge shaped gasket. Hard to believe, but the nut and proper gasket cost a dollar less than the gasket only at the local HD. Whole thing was less than two bucks. Remember that Teflon tape and plumbers putty are your friends...use plenty of both and you and your bathroom will be happy !

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't fall for it I've probably put in 15 faucets sets over the years in 4 houses. This drain assembly came with 4 Moen faucets we purchased for a vacation home we were improving. 3 out of the 4 leaked at the start. It's made of plastic so the threads warp as you screw the nut to tighten the gasket. I could just manage to use enough teflon to stop them when I installed them but eventually after about a year they all started to drip. One let loose completely and because the faucet was leaking, made quite a mess by the time we returned a couple of months later. I replaced them all with bronze models and no more problems. Spend the extra bucks so you don't have to worry

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quick & easy bath-sink drain replacement -- NO tools needed Quickly installed manually in my bathroom sink with NO tools required. Important to insert the inconspicuous little O-ring in its channel before screwing together the upper (sink piece) & lower (stopper rod entry piece) drain pipe sections. Equally important to very delicately align and test-turn gently together those upper & lower sections to avoid cross-threading them. You'll only get one chance since the threads are plastic. At end of job, firm tightening of both the large (vertical) and the small (horizontal) 'winged' nuts with a leather-gloved hand successfully sealed off all water seeps. Did NOT ever require any putty or other fillers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed when universal stoppers didn't work After all universal stoppers didn't fit my bathroom drains, I ordered the entire assemblies online for the same price. Home Depot shipped to my local store for free, and since the product was already paid for, all I had to do was show up with my ID and I was in and out in under 5 minutes. Although this product did not come with instructions and I had no prior plumbing experience, I installed three of these without any issues at all. All I needed was a wrench and some plumbers putty. Just be sure not to toss out any of the parts (such as the o-rings) before checking for leaks, because you will use all of them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bought this together with other MOEN Model # 96497 Bought this and other MOEN Model # 96497. This one has metal cased plastic drain inlet, which is value for price. But we decided to install the other MOEN Model # 96497. because both are same design differ by material, make no difference to installation. Hint : unlike drain assembly for sink without overflow drain hole, pay attention to thread sealing at the drain inlet. The included rubber washer will not stop leak, unless we apply paste-sealant or tape-sealant during installation. Hope this helps,
