I bought a very expensive Makita charger from Home Depot, and now I need a battery to charge for my Mikita drill

Why on earth would Home Depot not stock this GD battery, considering that there must be thousands of people in the US who have this drill, the Makita charger, and we need this battery.

I implore Home Depot to resolve this problem, and for contact me ASAP.

Hi Teko, if your new battery is # 1434 part number 193158-3, you can not use the DC 1414T. You would need one of the following battery chargers.
DC 1804, DC 1822, DC 1439 & DC24SA.
Hope that answered your question.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hey. They work. Two Replacement batteries. These have been real workhorses for years, but eventually they die. Very glad Makita still sells the 14.5 v models. Bought two because you never know when that will end. April 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just what I expected It's been a decade since I used New ones. Wow what a difference it made! All this battery stuff is over priced, though. February 23, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by 14.4-Volt Ni-MH 2.6 Ah Pod Style Battery The product was nearly identical to what I needed, but just different enough to be unusable.. I would simply advise buyers to be cautious to be sure the battery will fit their drill motor, especially if they have an older style drill. December 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by hard to find item Battery was hard to find, Now i know where to get more. December 8, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Lucky to find a replacement for my old drill's battery I was happy to find what I was looking for at the home depot site. I use my drill for woodworking projects and house repairs, so a dead battery is not a good thing. The price was right and the delivery was right on time. October 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hard to find battery Have an old Makita drill and unable to find the exact battery that fits. My old battery was a 14.4 volt and 2.0 AH. This one is 2.6 AH and it works perfect for my drill. I saw others on line with a generic name. I did not want to take a chance on an unknown name. January 28, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Needed battery I love my drill and light and use all the time but the battery ran out. I needed to replace and thought I could get at Home Depot store. They didn't have so I ordered on line and I felt delivery took longer than planned. November 11, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love it brought life back into an older drill. Much better than the red battery it came with Battery much more powerful than the original red NiCad battery. Drill at least ten years old works like new September 30, 2014
