Clean dishes start with better parts. And with a motor that's tested to twice the average dishwasher life expectancy, this is an ENERGY STAR qualified dishwasher you can count on. There's no need to rinse off dried-on food thanks to the ToughScrub option and a powerful 4-blade stainless steel chopper. For even more cleaning power, the JetClean Plus Steam cycle blasts off food particles with high-pressure spray jets and then adds the finishing touch of steam to reduce spots. The Auto Clean Plus cycle also uses sensors that monitor soil levels to help get dishes clean. Plus, the fully integrated controls offer a contemporary look that matches any kitchen.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by JUNK We have owned this model of dishwasher for just over a year and now it will not drain properly, something is wrong with the motor. Who knows how much it will cost to fix and for a new motor, we will probably end up having to buy a new dishwasher now. So glad we are out all of the money we wasted on this and now we will most likely have to spend quite a bit on a new one. I am very disappointed and upset with this product. I should also mention, this is our 2nd dishwasher of this model. When the first one was delivered to our home there was a crack in the tub, it was manufactured that way so they had to give us a new one. I really question the quality of this brand. October 13, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Leaks Since installation, the right side of the door has leaked (yes, it's level). Two repair visits later, and it still leaks. We're currently waiting on parts and yet another repair visit. So, weeks after installation, and we're still washing dishes by hand, paid $$ for something we can't use, and have to 'be available' whenever the repair person may show up. October 11, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst dishwasher EVER! I had a whirlpool for 17 years and replaced it with this dishwasher. The electronic panel stopped working in it after about 14 months. Of course, the warranty was no longer valid. Paid 275.00 to have it fixed (which only included a 30 day warranty). 3 months later it broke again! Maytag customer service was horrible! May 7, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor quality handle The only problem we had with this dishwasher was the handle. It did not fit flush with the dishwasher and looked like shoddy workmanship. We had three companies come try to fix/tighten handle and all said, "That's just the way it is." Tried having the door replaced, and that handle was actually worse and wiggly. It felt like it would break off at any moment, and we ended up exchanging the appliance. Home Depot was very accommodating. March 4, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by $$$+ mistake! I bought this dishwasher to replace my older, cheaper Maytag that lasted 6yrs. My problem is that I can not fit the same amount of dishes into it. The layout of the racks is awkward, unless you only use tiny plates. So I end up doing two loads instead of one. It doesn't fit anything big, bowls, pots, pans, cutting board, ect. so those have to be hand washed. Food particles get stuck and dried onto everything, even though I rinse first. The first few times I used it I had to rewash almost everything in it. The door is hard to latch, the buttons are hard to push and it was harder to install than the last one, and on top of that it's not worth the extra to get stainless if you want REAL stainless, because it's not. Oh and now I can't even use it because the door latch broke :) July 9, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Does a poor job "Purchased this model in white last spring (not available anymore) and it leaves the dishes dirty. Dishes on the top rack along the center are left with a dirty grit. They need to be rewashed after they come out of the dishwasher. Since the dishes come out dirty I can't use the heatdry feature as this bakes the dirty grit on the dishes. I had service techs come to my home 5 times with no results. I was told it was the soap dispenser. A new one was installed. Nope! I was told it was the detergent I used in the gel packs. I changed detergents. Nope! I was told I use too much detergent and JetDry. I used less. Nope! The last tech that came was the most honest...he said he had no idea. I did appreciate his honesty. Maytag support was not very nice. They said that their was nothing much more they could do, with a bit of attitude. March 15, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poorly Designed Machine don't buy I wish I could bring it back. The main problem is the design of the bottom rack. The tines are to far apart for anything but large plates for half of the bottom rack. Small plates cannot use this side because of a ridge that runs between the tines causing small plates to tilt to one side so they loose their support and move everywhere. We use mostly bowls, small plates, and cups. These items cannot be efficiently loaded in the bottom rack so I have to run the machine half empty most of the time thus reducing the efficiency of the machine. ALSO: The utensils do not get clean, and the soap door gets stuck sometimes. There's a small mini rack on top of cups on the right side. The space is so small only very small items can fit but the do not get clean . It is quiet and there is a steam setting, but loading the thing is a mess. I bought mine from home depot 06/2012. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by quiet and efficient I don;t own this for too long and maybe used it 10 times, but so far it looks like a great buy. It has planty of options to choose from, the hard scrub really does great job with cleaning big messes. the drying feature is not working as well as our old dishwasher, but maybe if you open the door, it would dry faster? It is the same capacity, but definitely more silent than our previous dishwasher and looks way better too :) Overall, good experience, I would recommend this. July 30, 2013
