What is the difference between this and the Hex Natural mosaic FDXHHW? From the product images, they look the same.

Asked by: MTX
Good Morning, These products are similar in design, but they have a couple noticeable differences. The surface on the Gotham is slightly more textured than the Heritage Hex. There is slight variation in color between the two as well, as the Heritage is a shade or two darker than the Gotham. The Gotham also has a coordinating series of products that mix and match well together They are both unglazed, making them extremely durable and slip resistant. We offer samples of each of these products if you wanted to see these differences for yourself. Please call or customer service team at (800)-963-7652 if you have any further questions or want instructions for ordering samples. Hope this helps!

What is the difference between the Merola Heritage Hex Natural White Model # FDXHHW and the Merola Gotham Hex Antique White Model # FXLGHWT?

Asked by: HexoTile
Good Morning, These two products are very similar. The Heritage Hex is extremely slip resistant, far exceeding the criteria for the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) Guidelines. The Gotham Hex does meet these standards as well, so they are both great for entry ways, showers and bathrooms where slipping is possible. These are both very strong and durable tiles, being safe for commercial use in busy places such as airports. They each have smooth surfaces with slight texture, low sheen finishes and very similar off-white coloring. Each of these are unglazed porcelain manufactured in China. The main difference is that the Gotham has a slightly larger bevel to the outer edges of each mosaic chip- both are slightly ‘cushion’ edged or beveled, but the Gotham’s is more pronounced. Also, the Gotham has a lot of coordinating products in the series, whereas Heritage is a standalone product. If you wished to see each product to decide which you prefer prior to making any large purchases, please contact our customer service team at (800)-963-7652. Hope this was helpful!

Are the edges of the individual tiles squared, or are they slightly beveled or rounded?

Asked by: PJ
Hi PJ, The tile is not perfectly square or rounded. It captures both of these elements to give sharp lines that are not too harsh. It offers a nice balance of the two. Also, the tile slightly bevels from the edges to provide definition without causing a slipping hazard or safety concern. If you have any further questions, feel free to contact our customer service team at (800)-963-7652. Hope this was helpful!
