Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by rusty great work jacket for the cold weather
the jacket is warm with out the heating elements on and with the heat turned on the jacket is really warm, the hand warmer pockets are great to keep your cold fingers warm. the jacket will work on 12 volts, or 18 volts with a adapter from Milwaukee. the12 volt 2ah battery will last 8 hr on low and 4 hr on medium. the battery pocket is large enough for 2 12 volt 2ah battery .run it on medium and change out the battery at lunch and you can stay warm all day.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Michael Simply works as described. Battery powered electric heated clothing works!
I've always been skeptical of battery powered heated clothing, as the first attempts with older nicad batteries just didnt last long enough or produce enough heat. With this line of heated jackets/vests/hoodies, they simply work and if one already has several Milwaukee batteries, it is easy to have 6-12hrs of heated comfort with swapping a battery or two. The quality of the jacket is also heavy duty and I expect to get several years of use out of this. Would buy again, in fact I did, presents for both my Father and Father In-law.

Milwaukee has some of the best products out. This jacket is very warm and you can buy a adapter that allows you to use M18 battery. It is the USB adapter.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by SteamyB Beware Big guys!!!
I'm a 6 foot 3 inch tall big guy. Husky broad shouldered guy who could spare a few inches off my belt line for sure. But I still usually fit a loose XXL JACKET. There is no way I could have fit into this jacket at a XXL size. It's not long enough for one thing as I'm fairly certain they don't offer a TALL version of this jacket. And, it's a slim fit. Even this 3X fits a little snug and is barely long enough. So big guys beware of the size factor. I'm lucky I went with 3X or I'd be returning the XXL. Other than that... Great jacket. Feels well made and comfy. Battery is non-intrusive while in your pocket. Warms to a comfy level at high, but not ridiculous warm.. Didn't get too hot. And "Medium Heat" or WHITE is just right for the chilly fall mornings I just had here. Pockets galore. And it doesn't include a USB charger, but has a labeled hole on the inside for one if you get the M18 adapter charger that allows it. Overall I'm very pleased with this jacket so far. Just... Buy a size bigger if you like it loose.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mel3389 Great product
I got this jacket for my son for his birthday and he absolutely loves it. It has a rechargeable battery in it that makes the jacket heated. My son was really happy with it. The only thing he did say he wished was different was that you have to carry around the battery. But he still loves it.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by George I wanted to like it, but it's ok.
I wanted to like it, but it's ok. I'm 5'7", on the thinner side, and keeping warm is a challenge. This helps a little, but not as much as I would have liked.
First, my external body temperature is about 90F. The highest setting is 100F, medium is 95F, and low is 85F. The heat pads are small so the highest heat is localized there and it can be over 10F lower around the pads. Low seems almost useless since it's below body temperature. That means I'll get about 2hrs of use on high with an M12.
As a result, I bought an M18 compact battery pack 48-11-1815 for $90, plus an M18 Power Source 49-24-2371 for $30. It is bulkier but not too bad.
Second, the inner lining is really thin and you can feel the cords. There is a lot of external heat loss shown in the picture. The external temperature is 99F and the inside is 100F. There isn't a middle insulation layer. The outer layer is polyester which feels and sounds like plastic, but it seems to bead water well. The inner layer is a real thin and delicate spandex that feels like suede.
Also, I suspect though have not proven, that the internal cords and heat pads will be challenged in durability by top-load washers with an agitator.
Third and maybe most important, fit is critical. I bought a medium that fits a little loose, which is my preference. It's the same size as my existing medium fleece I'm looking to replace. However, you will not effectively feel the heat pads to keep you warm since it's loose. With a tighter fit, the heat pads will rub flat against your body and will be more effective.
Last, the stitching seems weak. As you can see in the picture, it came with a broken and loose stitching around the zipper in the battery compartment on both the red and black jacket. I'm going through multiple exchanges until I get a non-defective item.
Hopefully the pictures help. They only allow 6 images and the resolution has to be small, so I didn't find the limitations useful.

Amazing on how good this jacket works in extreme cold outdoor working days. Wasn't sure how good at first, but now using it everyday.
