Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation introduces new Speed Feed Self-Feeding Wood Bits delivering clean holes up to 10 times faster than flat boring bits. Speed Feed Wood Bits include features such as a feed screw, double wing spurs, and a tapered design. The double wing spurs cut clean holes for feeding wire or bolts through, and the feed screw and dual cutting edges provide up to 10 times faster drilling vs. flat boring bits. Many applications, such as running new home electrical wires through dimensional lumber, require the user to make clean holes so the wire will not get caught on debris or splinters. While flat boring bits are often used for this type of application, the new Speed Feed Wood Bits provide improved performance over their counterpart and allow the user to get the job done much faster and with less effort.

  • Up to 10 times faster drilling vs. flat boring bits
  • Coated flutes for fast chip removal
  • Double wing spurs for clean hole cutting
  • 1/4 in.power groove shank fits all 1/4 in. extensions

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.0 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by they work These are the best bits you can buy. If you're going through more than 3 inches of wood just back the bit out halfway thru. No need to go in reverse just back out to clear the wood chips and your good...im an electrician as well. January 24, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by The bit does not clear the chips If you drill through more than 3 inches of wood the bit will get stuck most times on the way out. The tapered flukes do not pull the chips all the way out. It packs them tight around the shank. When you reverse the drill to get the bit out, chips stay in the hole packed so solid it is very hard to then run the bit back through the hole to clear the chips. Works ok on a single 2 x 4, but is worthless on anything thicker. I am an electrician and need my auger bits to work better than this when drilling through anything thicker than a single 2 x 4.
