Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Markinmn Super happy with this purchase.
After using a friends cordless Milwaukee 5/8 impact wrench - I decided to buy into their line of cordless tools. Couldn't be happier with my decision.
Tonight I pulled intake and exhaust studs off a 72 Triumph with the 1/4" impact driver, mounted with an extension, impact socket, and occasionally a universal joint - and it pulled every single one. A tool this small shouldn't have been able to do that.
I've used both the impact and drill on several projects and they make me wonder why I put up with cords for so long. If you're like me - and took your time deciding which cordless line to buy into - I really think you'd be hard pressed to beat these.

First of all its Milwaukee, there are only a few great brands that can with stand the constant abuse my compnay throws at them. If its not Hilti then its a Milwaukee for my guys. Great Price, Solid warranty with several Houston Authorized repair locations.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by jimmy Huge disappointment
I am a welder by trade and I recently moved provinces due to health issues. After spending time in a hospital and trying to get back on track, I found a job in a fabrication facility. Having no tools with me after I moved, I had to start over buying everything new. I have always bought Makita tools and I wish I would have stayed with what I know. Long story short, nothing but problems with supplier, warranty work, power, battery life, basically all aspects of the tool. I'm always gentle on my tools and tend to take batter care of them than necessary, but the Milwaukee tools have continuously let me down. 2 impacts, 2 drills and 2 grinders are a great example of how they're just not built to last. Not to mention the longest amount of time any one of them has operated has been 2 months of very light duty application. I have had my impact in the warranty repair shop longer than I had it in the fab shop now.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MrMeaux Expected more for the name
I bought this combo set because of the name reputation and it was on sale. The drills work great as expected. My disappointment is there is no place to keep a driver bit on the drill like most brands. Also, my other brand has a magnet on the base for keeping extra screws. I give stars because the drills work great and the batteries recharge quickly. If Milwaukee puts these features on their drills I would give them 5 stars.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Handyman good on first project
I have not used this kit enough to give it a full review yet, it seems good. Pro may want one with better battery life.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by driver Great Price for this Combo but have Brush Type Motors
I borrowed a co workers Cordless Drill with a Brushless Motor right before my Milwaukee Combo arrived. When My Combo arrived I quickly noticed the considerable amount Sparks when the trigger is released. I appears that vents are larger than the vents on my older 28v Milwaukee. Sometimes a stray spark or two actually shot out of the vents. I probably would not have really noticed this if I had not borrowed a brushless drill previously. My thought was that brushed motors are quickly becoming very old school. I opted to get the Brushless Combo 2799-22CX instead. It cost over 100 dollars more but now I do not have to see the annoying sparks and have longer battery run time. The overall life expectancy of the brushless tools are better as well.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Joeba Nice product!
I like the quick charging feature and drill is pretty versatile. The power is not the best I've experienced in a drill but it's good.
