Answer:
These units as with most furnaces do not come with thermostats. They have a pair of 24 volt contacts where you can attach the thermostat of your choice. Because they are often installed in garages, many people elect to use thermostats that go down to lower temperatures than you typical residential ones.

How warm it will get is a function of the temperature in the space to start and what the heat loss of the structure is. With that said there is no way of answering your first question of how hot it will get. I am sorry. You are welcome to call and we can talk about your specific application. Any 24 volt thermostat will work. I always use one with a big range. Some thermostats only go down to 60F and frequently people want to keep there garage cooler than that. As I don't know where your BTU load, where you are geographically and is not possible for me to say definitively that this will be enough. Again you are welcome to give me a call. Answer:
Modine unit heaters do not come with thermostats included. The simple reason is that there are so many thermostat options today. When selecting a thermostat please keep in mind people often keep there garages cooler than living space. So you may want to select one with a lower temperature range.
